Peter Billek February 10, 2009
I went on line to get a so called credit report which I did not get. They asked for a dollar charge but now I see on credit card statement, another charge PM identy.com that I did not agree to. I understand that there will be a monthly charge against my credit card. I don't know how to get in touch with them to cancel. I feel this is a scam and should be stopped read full review »

direct buy of rocklin ca
gina ruhl February 9, 2009
I was very excited to use the new direct buy. I had communicated on several occasions with Cheyenne about my various orders, and she seemed to very helpful, until I ordered a big ticket item, a custom leather sectional sofa. I had e-mailed the manufacturer to request if they made a particular sofa model I liked as a "sectional sofa". The manufacturer wrote back stating"yes". So, I requested Cheyennne to find out the price of the model of the sofa as a sectional sofa. Cheyenne on many occasions directly contacted the variou... read full review »

SLEEPY'S/MATTRESS
elkettari February 9, 2009
My husband and I went to purchase a mattress, I was recently operated, so I couln't go with him to pick up the mattress. They sold us a mattress and the box both for $1, 200. We paid cash, after my husband put it in the bed, I told him that's not the mattress that we purchased, it was another brand, much more thicker and fluffy then this one. Now I called inmediately the store and the manager (that sold us the mattress) was not there, I told the lady what happened she keep insisting that was the one that we picked, she wasn't... read full review »

Gardner White - Ashley tables
Jim T. February 9, 2009
Ordered two tables. Picked each of them up. When the boxes were opened at home, each one was damaged. One broken shelf and one damaged side board on the sofa table. When we reported the first problem we were told that their policy was to repair all damage. We weren't told anything else. When we picked up the second table, again I wasn't able to get to it right away, it was 4 days later when I opened the box. The box that had the legs in it was already opened. So was the bag of screws! So this thing had been delivered to someone... read full review »

Sears Canada/Natuzzi
Kata Granic February 9, 2009
I bought a Natuzzi® 'Catania II' Sofa just over 2 years ago in Toronto, Ontario. To our surprise, one side of the sofa recently fell in (down). To our even greater surprise, when the sofa was turned over to see what damage was done and what could be done to repair it, underneath the backing was not "engineered frames' made from european hardwoods" as Sears advertised but good old fashioned particle board!!! I cannot believe I was told that this sofa had a hardwood frame. Sears Canada is not responsible for the sofa... read full review »

SULTAN BED
Ranald MacDonald Snr., February 9, 2009
Bought a SULTAN BED from IKEA at their Straiton Store, Straiton Road, Midlothian on 17 04 2007 with a 25 years written guarantee detailing all the parts of the bed that were covered by the 225 years guarantee. I have a copy of the guarantee tohand. The bed base started to give way and on inspection I found that the supporting screws on the side frame of the bedbase had become stripped. Closer examination of the holes that they left on the frame showed quite clearly that the wood was more like compressed sawdust than real wood. To my mind... read full review »

The company maintained the property - In Oct 2007 a call was put in to them to stop all services to the property. In May 2008, we received a bill for a fall cleanup that was done in January 2008. The property did not look like it had any work done to it, nor were we ever told or left a notice that they had been to property but yet we received a bill. We sent a letter stating that we had called to cancel all future services in Oct 2007, we also questioned why a "fall" cleanup was done in January when fall clean ups are completed by Oct... read full review »

The Custom Edege, Inc./Custom curbing
RAG February 9, 2009
I would immediately cease any thoughts about contracting The Custom Edge. First of all, they are the most unprofessional business I have ever worked, especially Jaime Braddy who verbally battered my wife on the phone and called her "crazy" even after we notified them of their discrepancy with our driveway extension. We notified them that the driveway extension was for an F-350 truck with an 8ft bed. The truck was actually parked next the spot where we wanted the extension. They poured a driveway approx. 10ft on one side and then 25 on... read full review »

Sleepy's Mattress Stores
Diana February 9, 2009
We bought a California king mattress (serta sleeper) from sleepy's 3 years ago. About a year ago we noticed that the bed started to sink down (in different spots). I finally went to sleepy's told them what happened to the mattress. They sent out an independent contractor to take pictures of the mattress, box spring. When the guy was taking pictures he said that the mattress has to at least sink down 1 1/2 inches and ours sinks down 2 1/2 inches. Kenmore Series 500 Top Load Washer
Jazznme3 February 8, 2009
I just started using my new Kenmore 500 washer. About 6 loads. First load took me 10-12 min to untangle a pair of tennis shoes from the rest of nearly the entire load. I have never done anything unique with my prior washer, which was a Kenmore model...I think it was over 30 years old. Couldn't even find a year or model # on it. Wasn't sure I could get the water pump replaced. This machine is noisier. I thought they used better insulation or was I supposed to pay another $200 to get it quieter. Then today, I was further ticked. I... read full review »

When I returned it to Lowes, Lowes asked me to call a 1-877 number (customer service in India). I was told I was not allowed to return this water heater to Lowes. This item was faulty from the factory. No where on the box does it say "Do Not Return To Lowes." My Peachtree Windows are/were a joke! The windows in my kid's room were so bad that their room was literally 10 degrees colder than the rest of the house. The Windows in my downstairs were so bad that when the wind blew it would make the shades move and the frame was delaminating from the panes of glass! I tried to get Peachtree involved but since I am the second owner of the home they were utterly uniterested in helping in any manner (the house is was not even 8 years old at the time - - 2007). Fastfloors advertises “110% Price Match Guarantee”. This is a complete scam. After placing the order inserting the prices from a legitimate on-line competitor (which were substantially less, by the way) they matched the price, but only beat it by 2.5%, or a 102.5% price match. I did not mind too much because I was not going to have to pay the state sales tax, so it was close to 110% off….Then, the next day they cancelled my entire order! 1) I agree with the other complaints regarding delivery charges and that they seem to be a monopoly in gas distribution. 2) Does anyone get ticked off with their web site? With all the money they are charging, why can't they come up with a website with a customer login where you can track your bills, bill history for at least the last couple of years. What is the point of their website. Even my electric company Jersey Central has a way more decent site than theirs. Really disapointing web site in this day in age. 3) I should be able to pay with my credit card. At least will earn some meager points to offset the bills in the winter time. read full review »
