I purchased a double tilt-out hamper from Home Decorators to use for recycling soda cans and newspapers. The dimensions of the hamper were listed as 27 high x 24 wide x 14 deep. I figured it would be small, but still very usable. However, when the hamper arrived, it turned out to be too small to be usable for much of anything. My wife and I had some work done by Eric, the owner of Exterior Design. He gave us a price and collected our money quickly, but when it came to finishing the job, it took months! He spent most of his time away from the job site, talking on the phone, and generally not working. He's very good at making friends with his customers, which buys him more time. I wouldn't have minded the extra time if he would have done the job I expected, but a month later, the job needed repairs. This guy doesn't return calls. On a Saturday about two weeks ago my sewer main plugged up inside the pipe headed out to the street. I called Mark's Sewer and Drain to have them bring out their snake and clear the simple clog. When the guy got to my house he ran the snake for about 2 minutes before telling me that it wasn't a simple clog and would require about $1500 worth of repairs (to install a new clean out). Florida Water Testing mailed us a card asking to test the water in our home, my wife filled it out and mailed it back to them. This company called us twice and sent out cards thru the mail, with in a week a Mr. George A. Beltz came to our residence to test our water. I was on a service repair plan and paid my monthly bills by mail. One month I paid my bill online and then I never received another bill in the mail. I thought they had discontinued the service. I had a broken expansion tank at the apartment building I own, I found them on google as my regular plumber was out of town, I have 7 tenants there and needed immediate repair.The technician told me the tank must be replaced, it is the size of a propane tank used for your BBQ. I purchased a Kenmore Electric Range model 790 in 3-2006 and in Nov. 2008 my oven burn element coil shorted out and fell to bottom of oven. The coil melted through. Sears did not want to hear about this as we did not buy an extended warranty just the one year service. The coil also damaged the memory board that controls the oven. There were several attempts to have these problems fixed and was left out in the cold. well really it was the hot because i just bought my first home and they said that they talked to my girlfriend and said that she said it never worked but the first claim was made in may well guess i didn't need a A/C during that other 90degree weather. I purchased a black & Decker HT22D from Home Depot 6 months ago. I have been very satisfied with trimmers performance. Unfortunately the last time I used it one of the ears on the cutting blade broke off. All, 1st Choice Moving and Storage is one such company that you cannot trust as their representatives would not even bother to call you back regarding the move. I initiated the move from Olympia WA on September 24th and I still haven't received my stuff to date (November 19th 2008). On calling them they keep telling that they would not know when they can deliver as they thrive on some other moving agency. Gist of it, just stay away as they fail you in every regard. We paid Truman Albright to repair the roof on our rental property and it still leaked. It got so bad we had to have another contractor come replace the sheet rock in the ceiling below it. We contacted Truman first to see if his 'warranty' would cover stopping the leak before further repairs were made. He charged another $465 to take a $5 tube of roof caulk to the area in question. 2 days later the roof still leaked. When we called to have him come back he refused, became very angry and made verbal threats. If anyone else has a similar story about this guy, please post it here. We paid Jason for 5 doors, received 4 of the 5 but they were incomplete. Still waiting on door 5. We paid in full as he wouldn't ship the doors if we didn't. Promised to send the last door and we have documentation. Tried to sue but of course he waived all right and wanted to take it to court. My wife and I bought a Simmons Beauty Rest mattress 3 years ago. After 1 year of usage we noticed sagging where we sleep. We both have back pain as a result of sleeping on the mattress. At first the product seemed great, but it did not take long for the problem to develop. We are not happy with the mattress, no stains, bought the right frame and it doesn't sound like having the inspector out yields any results.
