I had a pipe leak Nov 2006 that required emergency plumber visit. the plumber came and quoted me $1000 to repipe a small section, less than 3 feet. It was a Sunday and veterans day weekend so i let him go ahead and do the work. this plumber and this company takes advantage of other people's situation. the quote is overpriced. normally something like that costs not more than $500 being a Sunday, holiday weekend and emergency. cannot understand how this company in good conscience charge me that amount. I have been dealing with Aaron's since 2003 when I leased a big screen TV from the store in Poughkeepsie, NY. I relocated back to Georgia in 2005 and have since opened accounts in the Conyers and Stockbridge locations. We contracted Rona to install a new bathtub in our home. They sent a subcontractor that was not qualified to do the work. He did plumbing and electrical work and he is neither an electrician or a plumber. Carpet purchases was defective. Menards sent someone from the carpet mill, (shaw industries) to inspect the carpet, who said there was nothing wrong with it. The twist was coming out of it in less than three months & dents from tables & chairs do not rebound. Menards never sent a rep from there own company. In mid November of 2006 I had AMY come to my house and fix a leaking valve behind me washing machine. The serviceman showed up 2 hours late and installed a new valve. Cost of Items about $29 MAX. If you use State Farm Insurance run, don't walk, to another company fast! They take your money but give you every hassle in the book when it comes to paying. They won't follow up on collision claims when you have your car repaired under collision insurance. This complaint concerns a commercial install performed for a non-profit organization. After almost six months, we still don't have a fully-functioning system and are out nearly $8,000. Our experience has included a ridiculously long list of faulty parts, missed service calls, false trips of the system, added riders to the contract during the installation process, and horrendous customer service from ADT management in the Richmond office. I purchased hardwood floors and needed the glue to install them. I went to Lowes to the flooring dept. where I was told what glue to use. Upon reading the label it read "Not For solid wood". I pointed this out to the so called PRO and was told that my flooring was considered plank and it was the right glue. I installed the floors and within 2 weeks it was coming up. They remodeled my kitchen 2 years ago, and the work was shoddy, sloppy and they refused to acknowledge their errors. I had 7 kitchen cabinet glass doors installed, and because of an error they made in placing the hinges, the doors were attached in a manner that was jury-rigged and much less sturdy than they were originally.
