I signed up with AA On-Line Moving & Storage in August 2005 to move our things from New Brunswick, NJ to Winter Haven, FL. I spoke with Mark Ash who was the salesmen and assured me that I was in good hands. The cost was $4,000 to ship our furniture and $289 a month for storage. We recently had to get forced into public sewer. We had a well but unfortunately, a new development was made for wealthy people only. J H Freed was contracted to do the job. They not only did not honor the contract but also, did not do any grading or emptying out the septic tank. They were quick enough to cash the check and get their money! I purchased a duet washer at Lowes on 9/05. I have followed all manufacturer's instructions for the care of my washer. I have a septic tank odor coming from the water that washes my clothes for 1 month. Have followed Whirlpools recommendation to resolve the issue but did not help. On 6/4, while I had my Kitchenaid range on the self clean cycle, the oven stopped working. The fuse blew and the timer on the oven went out. When I replaced the fuse the range top worked, but the timer remained out on the oven and the oven door remained locked. I sent Kitchenaid an email that day and followed up with a call the next day. I tested a Simmons Beautyrest mattress in Kirschmans Furniture Store in Metarie, La. The bed was wonderful in the store. I had the bed delivered on Jan. 17, 2004. It was a Simmons Beautyrest Avenue edition bed. Also purchased was the recommended bed frame and mattress pad. All of our appliances are Kitchenaid and are nothing but problems. Latest one is the built in oven. While baking, the lower element burned out and burned a hole in the bottom of the oven.. I give the sales person (Randy) a drawing and measurement (done by Lewis). Randy made the list of materials ($1996.73) and installation prices ($1213.27). When the installer came to do the installation they were short materials. Randy misses several pieces. I when back to and bought the extra material. The Laminate Store will not send the installer back unless I pay $75.00 trip fee. The Laminate Store salesman (Randy) made the mistake; therefore the Laminate Store should pay the trip fee. I paid cash for a leather sofa on may 5th, 2006 in the amount of $1,356.27 and set-up delivery for may 30, 2006. On the day of delivery the delivery men were obviously in a rush and jilted my door on the way in with my sofa, rendering my top lock useless. This problem started months ago when a technician came out to replace a modem and told me that the signal coming into the house was a little low. I'm not going to say anymore than that...for now. On 8/6, my high-speed internet service was running at speeds near 1990's AOL dial-up, if i was lucky. The contract with Touch of Class Construction, Inc. was signed on May 23, 2005. The sales representative presented himself as the nephew of the owner of company. This turned out to be untrue. It was represented that Touch of Class, Inc. had its own salaried workers and would not be subcontracting any of the work to other contractors. This was totally untrue. This is one of those outrageous early termination fee compaints. Had $15.99 internet scheduled in July for one year. I lived in Indiana until that May of 2006, at which time I moved to Ohio. Since AT&T did not cover Ohio I had to terminate my service 4 months early of the contract. So of course they sent me a $200.00 early termination fee bill. Do the math and you might realize something doesn't add up. For 4 months at $16.00 there would only have been a bill of $64.00. My parent's home was reroofed after a hail storm in 1995. I moved back in and inherited the home in 1999. The roofing warranty says nothing about being invalid if deed is transfered. It leaks terribly and I have been trying to locate KC Construction Services, Inc. since we moved back in. Even though they are listed with the BBB, on the internet and phonebook, they do not exist here in Texas. The roof has a 20 year warranty . I purchased a bed last week, Monday, at the Easy life furniture in Cerritos, CA and paid cash and $65.00 delivery fee. I was told that the bed will be delivered that Friday and they will call to let me know the time. Friday morning and I have not received a call so I call the store. I am filing a complaint against the following roofer because of the death traps he and his roofers created. Arnold Check (CFT Enterprises) and his roofers created many hidden problems. The most dangerous were the creation of large holes in the wood sheathing that were hidden by covering them over with shingles. In July 1998, we purchased Bruce Traffic Zone Laminate flooring (in a light Maple color) for our kitchen/dining room. Last October (2002) we noticed that the flooring was turning green where the sun shown on it. I contacted Alliance Home Warranty on Tuesday, June 27 to arrange for service of a stovetop that was not working properly. A repair person contacted me and arrived the following morning. We built a home in Woodberry which is located in Fairfield Township. Our builder was Drees and they did a wonderful job on our house. Shortly after we moved in MI Homes took over the subdivision. MI Homes have built all of their homes higher than the existing Drees homes and have graded the yards to drain down into the yards of the existing Drees homes.
