I am writing out of frustration regarding an event that happened on 12/29/2010. My 17 year old daughter was shopping at Deerbrook Mall at Claire’s Boutique when she was physically stopped outside the store by an unidentified employee of UF Security (contracted by Claire’s) and was falsely accused of shoplifting. I sent a complaint regarding a car accident I had over a month ago, involving and caused by a Courierit vehicle. They responsed to my 1st report and said they would get back to me ASAP. A month later and I am still waiting. Four weeks ago, this environmental company was supposed to fetch my refuse bin on a thursday which they failed to do. They arrived a day late by which stage the bin had been stolen. The drivers of the refuse truck the next day said that Veolia is responsibile for the replacement of the bin and that this must be discussed with management. Four weeks of phoning and asking for someone to clarify the above issue has yet to result in a single phone call. Not one. Every time I call, grovelling promises to return my call etc but nothing. I purchased a very expensive vacuum from Miele in 2003 for close to $1200. expecting to have a dependable and relaible vacuum. Within the first month I began having problems with filters, nozzle and the suction was horrible. I have never been able to use it without clogging or build up in the power brush. I understand that the Railroad has a difficult time providing service in poor weather conditions. However, when I woke up this morning I checked the LIRR website and it said that the 6:13 and the 6:47 train were running out of Kings Park to Jamaica. This company has the worst return/exchange policy of any children's store I know. Their policy states items must have "tags attached" in order to return or exchange them. I am a Private Investigator who uses GPS trackers on cases. I purchased one of the most expensive units just to find out they will not service their units. Their web page advertises that they have immediate service replys. I have had to e-mail this company many time just to get a reply. Their techincal supports *** as well as their employees that I have talked with. I have money, this is not the issue, I just asked that they test the unit they sold to me which I continued to get the same reply, "well we know that it works". I paid over $400.00 for new eyeglasses in Dec 2008. Exactly 12 months later Dec. 2009 the lenses were cloudy due to a coating wearing off.
