One day after the 30 day warranty on the LG Neon II stopped workingI purchased at &170, AT&T refused to let me exchange the phone at the local AT&T seller. Walmart has on their website a fantastic offer to setup credit card and set $20 cash back. They have the procedure to setup such that it is impossible to get the $20. If you read the fine print, you only get the $20 back if you make $100 (or more) purchase when you open the credit card. The problem is that NOONE gets the credit card immediately and when you do get it. Purchased two of the Harry Potter "Illuminating Wands" from the Noble Collection web site for $39.50 each + $13 shipping. Found the same exact wands the next day at Barnes & Noble for $29.95 full retail -- no shipping of course. Requested a refund of the extra $20 paid for these items from the web site. Answer was No. Doesn't make sense -- Barnes & Noble had to pay wholesale for these things -- and yet retail price is $10 less than online price. I sent my smartphone that I didn't use anymore to Full Circle Wireless. The phone worked fine and was only a year and a half old; I just got a new one because my plan allowed me to. I recently tripped across a really cool site the helps to build trust between buyers and sellers on classifieds sites. The site is called Faceified. It enables sellers to register their ads ans ask for reviews from buyers. Sellers can then refer future potential buyers to the site to read about their reputations and reviews from other buyers. Paula Lamb assured us that she was selling us RCI points only, that it had nothing what-s-ever to do with Timeshares. After it was put in a brown envelope, I didn't look at the documents again until I received a bill for $374 for a annual fee for a timeshare in Palm Springs, CA. I have looked at over 5 Timeshares, and did walk a through on all. This woman and her partner altered the documents on a computer. My daughter and I read all the paperwork before we signed.
