Unless you like to be cheated and abused, steer clear of this Janome sewing machine dealer and quilt fabric shop in rural southern Maryland. This shop is run by an elderly couple, a tottering older man and his Queen of Attitude female cohort whose customer service is at best, horrendous, and at worst borderline abusive. However I did not read the fine print and it was for a listing with Yellow pages United from Atlanta GA I would like to cancel the order but they state I am obligated to pay. How do I complain. Incident = On March 8th, I contacted Verizon to request installation of their new FIO bundle system. I was assured by the agent that what I would get would be FIOs and I accepted and ordered Internet, TV and Telephone. Don't waste your money on their consulting or even the "turn key sites" . However, they only sell their cookie cutter sites with consulting and you don't need it. They prey on the weak. Beware of this company. Do yourself a BIG favor and check all the complaint on the internet. My personal experience was horrible. I paid $1000 for a guaranteed delivery. When they did NOT deliver on the scheduled date they said, Sorry -- read the fine print. According to the contract (that I did not receive until after I paid the $1000) states that I'm only entitled to $30 if they fail to make deliver as scheduled. It was bad enough that they missed the scheduled delivery, but they also somehow managed to lose the boxes containing our most expensive items. I have recently purchased a 2 pack of tommee tippee dummys with animal print on for 6 to 18 month old babies. I would like to complain about this product as my 10 month old son nearly choked on it. They do not state however that it is subject to terms and conditions. The terms and conditions state that unlimited actually means that they can define unlimited to be whatever they want. We're a trucking company and knowing Lowes reputation for unloading trucks, my driver called to let Lake of the Ozark, Mo know he was on his way and they told him they receive until 10:00pm. He arrived at 4:10pm. They told him they quit unloading at 4:00pm and refused to unload him. They would unload at 7:00am. Try 8:30am. He had 1 skid to unload. Took all of 3 minutes. Being stuck in heathrow airport lift for an hour, we telephoned them 6 times and they knew how nervous i was, they explained that they had sent the engineers to the wrong lift, they asked us at the beginning which floor we were on, we replied that we didnt know as all it said on the lift was out of service, we heard nothing else from them apart from when we telephoned them. There was no communication no paramedics there and all we had was a bottle of water from airport staff. Bottom line: AT&T (Bellsouth) "determined" that the line interference came from inside my house and charged me $90 without prior notification. At least, they could have fixed the problem or could have waived the fee because I was loyal customer of theirs for +/- 10 years. I had bought a $3, 600 King Size Serta Mattress from Sleepys two years ago. The Mattress warrantee is supposed to be for 10 years as you would expect with an expensive mattress like that. However after less than one year the mattress started to sag towards the edge making it almost impossible not to roll out of bed unless you constantly woke up and re-adjust your sleeping position. Our family has bought Oscar Meyer products for years. The last two months we have thrown out weiners that smell so bad when you cook them. Not just a little bad, but bad.
