Finishing Touches cleaned my house several times, and Dora and Doris did an excellent job. The last time, Sarah, the owner, showed up with a new guy. Dora apparently no longer works for them, and Doris was not there. The guy did not clean thoroughly and did not dust most areas in my den. The carpets had to be re-vacuumed after I pointed out how dirty he left them. I have to wonder how many different people would come to clean if I kept the service. I'm not happy that I need to go back and redo. I would not suggest this company. read full review »

I ordered a snow gage from a company that used Speedee delivery. I wanted to give this as a Christmas present(yes, my friend asked for it). I put the order in on Dec. 5th. and I was notified that it shipped out on the 7th. I waited and waited and finally called the company I ordered the snow gage from and they assured me that they had sent it out on the 7th and they gave me the tracking number. Do not buy from TotalProDigital.com. It's bait and switch, just a scam. I wanted to purchased a specific and rather expensive Sony camcorder. As I talked to the salesman, he suggested I buy another model Sony with some accessories claiming it was very close to my original desire in features. After receiving the camcorder, I look at it once and taped the box shut. It seemed completely different than the camcorder I wanted. Mawi painting in Moreno Valley was referred to me by a relative. He submitted a bid with guidelines for work to be done. He did not honor the bid, use the lowest grade paint(my doors still stick after 3 months). He used water base paint over oil base without proper priming. He was to sand, fill and patch before painting--this was not done. He did not protect my white carpeting and when I asked for protection he threw dirty tarps over the carpets. I ordered a Western Digital hard drive from e-tech on 11/06/09 that was advertised as new. I was sent the wrong drive. I returned that hard drive as was supposed to be sent the correct drive. Starting on December 8 I received my almost $250.00 order from American Candle, amost $60 of the order was wrong, they sent the wrong "scent" of candles. I called and was told I would have to talk to a supervisor and one would call me back. No call back ever came that day. I called the next day and was put on hold...forever, I finally hung up after 15 minutes. We bought several gift cards from Meijer's as gifts. One we bought was for Big Boy restaurants. When the recepiant went to use it the restaurant refused to honor it because it was not for the Big Boys in Michigan. The gift card was for Frisch's Big Boy's which only operate in Ohio and Kentucky.When I went to Meijer with the receipt and the gift card asking for my money back, I was told that all sales are final on gift cards, even if you cannot use them. The example site they sent back to me was a copy and paste version of the one of the websites I sent to them. Steve Hoffman, owner of Southern, left a flyer on my door advertising carpet cleaning services with a specialty in removing pet stains/odor. The flyer also stated that if the service done was not up to my satisfaction it would be re-serviced or refunded. I spoke to Mr Hoffman on Dec 18th and he verbally guaranteed that his service would remove the pet odor and bacteria, but not necessarily the stains. I agreed to this. I called this company for repair service on my Kenstar Washing machine. After two days one service man came and cleaned up the terminals and told me that he cleaned up the terminals and the washer work. He did this service within five minutes and collected Rs. 330.00 and left. Then we tried to wash our clothes and found the washing machine is now completely dead . My Wife and I bought two seats on an air conditioned bus of Sangeeta travels seat numbers 31 & 32(dated 28 Dec, 2009) travelling from Pondicherry to Bangalore. They charged 760 INR per seat and commited to provide the A/C Hi Tech but we all surprised to see the basic bus at the boarding point, Pondicherry. I have been ripped off. Do not recommend Denny Wiggers. Hidden service change, less than a cord, ridiculously odd sized mismatched wood and it was so green it felt like iron. Upset with the overcharges December 27, 2009
The initial services were fine. However, it was noted that we were overcharged. The receipt indicated 16 blinds cleaned, when only 14 were actually cleaned. We did not catch it until after we were charged. Additionally, we ordered two replacement blinds that were to be sent directly to the house. It was to take 3 days, however it is over 3 weeks. Walmart money visa cards are sold at the register and the receipts are very tiny (that much I remember) but are not matched to the individual cards and either thrown away (as one elderly lady informed us) or not sufficient to activate the cards. Do not buy things from The Good Guys Warehouse especially at the Casula NSW Warehouse. The service there is terrible, staff treat there customers with contempt. Recently we purchased a fan from them & when we got it home it did not work. Apon returning the item we were refused our money back & only offered a replacement or a store credit note.
