Local furniture store in Rutherford, NJ is nothing but a pain in the neck. Back in April 2008, my husband and I brought a dinette set. Laurentel, Inc has billed me for a 800 number that I never ordered. They billed me a set-up fee last month. I called and asked what it was about and they said someone had ordered a personal 800 number for me. I told them I don't need an 800 number and to cancel it. They said they would cancel it and refund all my money. Yesterday, I get my new bill, and Laurentel, Inc has charged another $8.64 for this 800 number and 2 local calls. This establishment billed my credit cards for services not received. They also over billed me. They billed three different cards three different times. This was all done AFTER I had paid them upon check out. The management was sincere with regret, however, they are the ones who continued to make the billing mistakes. I signed a contract for a guarenteed loan, to recieve it within 24hrs. I had been a US Bank customer for 3 years (until yesterday!) and after fighting with them for over a month, I am no longer with them. In July, I went to the ATM only to be told my card had expired, but I had never received a new one in the mail. I bought a car from Kar-Plus the end of March. I have had so many problems with the vehicle. Father And Son Moving and Storage refuses to accept responsibilty for damages, or even offer any reasonable insurance options. They showed up for the move with no equipment for moving my piano, even though they knew one was being moved. They manhandled it up the steps, scratching the finish on every push. We we consistantly told different rates for our loan and everytime they were called on it, they denied it. Closing costs went from no closing costs to around $5000 after all was said and done. I have told them repeatedly to stop calling because no one is here by the name they are asking for. I have instructed them to remove the number from their data base, but the calls continue.
