I spent the entire 14 hour flight from Zurich to Hong Kong in the dark because neither the overhead lights nor any electronics (TV, videos) worked. Wow - this airline SUCKS! We just booked tickets. We were given a total price for the ticket and had to put in our credit card. AFTER THAT, they take you through a bunch of screens where THEY ADD ON FEES for luggage and a SEAT! They abuse their housekeepers. They make them clean like 30 rooms like in 6 to 7 hours a day. The hotel makes the housekeepers lie to the guests for example like if they ask for something like a laundry bag you would have to say that you would get it for them when the hotel has not even order any at all and if the guest gets mad they will scream at you. They make them clean everything pick up the bed sheets and even take them to the laundry room when that's the job of another person. We checked in on Sun Nov 8. When we arrived, we found this resort to be like a townhouse community. We were put up in a room about 1/5 mile from the main area of the resort. Once we opened the balcony doors, they is bat excrement and urine on the chairs and the floors. We complained about that from the start. This particular resort has the slowest food service. My wife and I rented this house for a week in June of 2009. The pictures were very attractive and the location was perfect, the north shore of Kauai in Hanalei. Beware of bonus cash from Priceline... I chose Priceline over other sites at first because they offered 2 nights of hotel voucher. However, you need to be very careful because the instructions are not included when you book your hotel. I expected the bonus cash discount to be taken off the Name Your Own Price total, but NO... that's not how it works. I wish they had instructions on the booking page, but they don't. This package was booked during a period when they were offering a $ 400 travel coucher when booking a vacation package for a couple. Had no clue the website booked thru Travelocity or Priceline. very deceptive I think. Website is saying no refund but I have all the proof I didn stay at the Hotel booked. Proof of where I did stay. I purchased an E-ticket through Emirates Online. All of my seats were pre-selected a long time before I traveled. I traveled from Los Angeles, USA on September 16th to Lahore, Pakistan. The come on is to attend a presentatoin in return for two free airline tickets and car rental for two anywherein the US. Even though APA owns their won travel agency, after the presentation they give you a membership form from VIP travel. VIP requires an up front payment of $50.00 pe person and their rules and restrictions handcuff anyone who has nothing to do but wair for VIP tomake arrangements. Noticed bedbugs the second night. Left management know of problem. When manager called he offered one nights refund. I requested a full refund. Also room was the smallest I've ever stayed in, had to go to a different floor to get ice and it took 10 minutes to arrange for a wakeup call becauuse the clock radio in the room was not functioning properly.
