Some retailers are out of touch and provide poor customer service, especially to working families. Take Thomasville for example. I bought the Nocturne dining set and the screws on chairs come out too easily. One guest sat and broke a chair within a year and now I cannot even buy the same chair. I allowed my 14 yr. old to ride his bike with his 14 yr. old friend to the dollartree store in Pennsville, N.J. After my son returned home, I found his receipt on the bathroom sink and just being nosy to see how much candy he purchased I was shocked to see a butane lighter was purchased. Ordered what I thought was just a sample size of Hydroxatone anti-aging cream and got two full size to try for 30 days. Tried for two weeks set bottles on counter in bathroom to return. I purchased an alarm system from frontline after they convinced me that they had a great system and they were so much cheaper than their competition. I came home yesteday and someone had broken into my house, the alarm that you can only hear in my living room was ringing when I came in. Attempting to contact this on-line site to discontinue future shipmets of product. The site apparently is disguising it's name/location to prevent contact by consumers. Repeated telephone calls to a phone number have been to no avail since the "company" has a recorded message of it's hours of operation. Bought a car from Jose Cabrerra of Broadway Auto Slaes and I don't think this guy said a truthful about thing about the sale. He assured me the noise in transmission was normal and gave me his personal guarantee that he would cover the transmission himself if there was a problem. Sure enough with a month I need a new tranmission and he would not return calls. I filed a complaint and won a default judgement but it has been impossible to collect.
