I purchased some foundation powder a few months ago. The price I was quoted was "about $60" from the thick accented sales woman. Pretty expensive i thought. I bouht it and during the purchase i got a phone call. I gave her my card and she quickly shoved the sales receipt in the bag. I am NOT happy with T-mobile..I made a payment with my visa card for my aug balance and then a month later(this month sept) has my phone turned off 5 days before my next billing date (sept 25, 09), just to find out that I "supposedly" didn't make the payment... I renewed my subscription to Outdoor Photographer for two years and paid $39.95, through Publisher's Billing Exchange. Outdoor Photographer never got the renewal, I sent them a copy of the cancelled check, both front and back. I still did not get credit for my renewal. I was recieving messages saying my virus protection (spy sweeper) was expiring. I was late in renewing and lost Internet connections. I contated the online payment option to renew. I was charged $90.90 but did not receive the service. I had my neighbor come over two days later so I could get connected. (computer Geek) He set me up with Trend Micro-Antivirus for half the price and my Internet worked immediately once again. This company is horrible. They damage your possessions and don't even bother to tell you. They try to hide it until they are out of the house. They don't even try to be gentle with your items or the house they are moving things in or out of. Then if you make a claim, you are told tough luck because you have to sign paperwork when they first get there and if you don't, they won't move you. After doing business with Amazon for a years buying and selling I suddenly get an email stating my account has been suspended for policy violations. They would not even tell me what they were talking about. No one to call to find out any information. They denied my appeal and pretty much told me not to contact them again. I opted to apply for a next card visa in 1998. I had a great account with them until about 10/2001. I had received a letter stating that my card would no longer work as the company had gone under and I was to immediatly pay my balance. I had paid it, sent it off and it promptly returned to me, uncashed. When I called the company's phone number on their website, i got an answering machine. I never got a call back. Ordered a blue hippo computer on 6-12-09; they deducted the first payment on 6-16-09; i cancelled the order on 6-17-09; they promised a refund of the initial payment within 45 ays. As of this date I still have not received refund even though i have filed a complaint with BBB, had several phone conversations, emails, correspondence with Blue Hippo. Last corres from them in early August indicated they would refund in 45 days [after reviewing my account]. that 45 days should be up shortly. They have had my $ since 6-12-09. I have been a Bank of America customer for many years. I have over one hundred thousand dollars in an account in that organization. I have always made my payments on time and have a high credit score. I have a credit card with this same bank and they charge me 9.72% interest... I just got my bank statement showing two withdrawls by MVQ-TWENTY4PROPLUS for $17.95 initially and ten day's later for $20.95. I don't know how they got my account information. Obviously it was by some sneaky way and not straight up front as if they were proud of their organisation. My bank statement had a phone # 888-337-4295 which I called. On June 16, 2009 I wrote a check for $52.00 for a magazine that I was told would start in July or August 2009. The check was cashed but as of this date 9-22-2009 I have never received the magazine. When I tried to reach them through the number a machine answers and states that the machine is turned off. This to me is a rip off and I could not truly afford to throw away the $52.00. I stayed in the Sheraton Hotel September 6th thru the 7th this month. I left my laptop AC Adapter (Sony Vaio brand). I recently checked into an Econo Lodge motel in Fort Myers FL. The room smelled like urine as soon as I opened the door, so I immediately went back to the registration office and asked for a refund. They told me the would not charge me card and gave me a receipt indicating I would be charge nothing. Two weeks later they charged my card for around $50 dollars.
