Purchased the Rain Bird Model ISM-9RS Automatic Sprinkler timer as a replacement unit. We have had this unit approximately 1 month and have yet been able to make it function properly. I bought a 3,000 dollar lawn mower and used it for about 3 months. The right side hydro drive trans went out. I had it at a repair place for a month, they gave it back and said they could not fix it. I was moving and called my cable company to disconnect service. They had an auto response machine that said if you are disconnecting service leave message and we will get back to you. One week later cable was still on and no one got back. I called again and they said they would not be able to disconnect until a week later. I said fine but I want my final bill. Almost a year ago, I lost my home to foreclosure. Someone wanted to buy the house; HSBC appraised it at $140K and this company offered $100K. HSBC refused. I filed Chapter 13 and while I wasn't notified, I'm sure the house sold at auction. MAACS.com claims to have good customer service and to be reliable. From my experinece this is not even close to the truth. On 09-20-07 I ordered a set of ABU and never got them. I called several times and finally on 12-15-07 I spoke with someone who finally canceled the order which was a lie. Thankfully, we did not make the second and final payment for services rendered, and we did receive "looks" showing their progress in the design before they went AWOL. Ordered goggles a month ago. 1 week after the order they e-mailed me and said the item is out of stock. I e-mailed them asking to be given another item instead. I didn't get a response so I called them and asked for the same thing. 2 weeks later I have not received a shipping confirmation. I tried calling again and no one is answering the phone. I know that this is my fault, but I feel that I should let everybody else know so that they do not fall for the same deal. In the lease that we have all signed to live in these "Luxury Apartments" it states that you must give a 60-day notice to move out. This is double to industry standard of 30-day notice. The Heritage is nice enough though to send out some nice reminders that your lease is going to run out and that you either need to renew, or give your notice. If you have been ripped off by this company: Call your credit card company at once and dispute the charge, You have 60 days from the date the charge was on the card. Took my car to the America's Service Station in Canton for an oil change and tire rotation. Marked one of the tires because it has a slow leak and I wanted to make sure I knew which one it was after the rotation. I have used many Auto Transport companies in my day, but have found TAS (Texas Auto Shippers) to be the absolute worst in customer relations. A fellow that did the intake for me named Will was an OK guy. The broker service selected a friendly and courteous driver named Ken. I opened the account and had it in good standing but missed a payment and a nsf went into their system in Nov'07. They reported me to scan and now I cannot write any checks to anyone because of it. I was told by the locksmith that instead if the $140.00 he quoted ne first, it would cost me $326.00 because he had to break the locks to get in. He replaced the locks, I gave him my debit card, he charged me $326.00 TWO times. I have been receiving calls daily since around 12-15-2007. I have called Secure Horizons on three occasions to get them to stop the calls to my cell phone. I have been told it takes six to eight weeks to process my request, which is absurd. I was told it was because of the size of their database. Axiom Commercial Funding was interested in my loan that was submitted on a real estate web site through a mortgage broker. They found out all of the details and approved us for 377,000.
