March 7, 2011 I went to the VisionWorks store because I had seen an ad in the Sunday paper with a "buy any frame in the store for $59" notice. I agree these people are complete crooks. What they are doing is nothing short of imbezzlement and criminal in nature. To make it worse, they send their receipts and paperwork via US Mail. My husband received a call from Auto Marketing Systems and Longwood Inc. in response to a motorcycle that he placed an advertisement to sell on Craigslist. My mother fell for the "Car and cash prize winner" bit hook line and sinker. She had enough sense to tell me, but only after seven wire transfers totaling over 6000US dollars. I got a restricted call and at first i didnt answer but i thought it might be a friend of mine who had just moved out of town. so i answer it and the guy on the line tells me that he is from UPS and has been trying to deliver a package that contained a chashiers check containing a large sum of money. and then he transfered me over to his boss. Just received a call from 1-876-356-4214. Caller ID showed Jamaica. Caller had a weird accent. Caller said he was from UPS and he had a package for me. He went on to say to call his boss, Joe Carter, at 1-876-356-4214 to verify. I asked who was the package from. Caller said American Monetary something. I would simply like to advise that coast to coast tickets raises the price of tickets by a great amount. $35 tickets were posted as being $91. In addition to that they had a shipping fee of about $30 on EACH of the tickets. Send me an envelope please, these are paper tickets for goodness sake. This may not be incredibly wrong, but with out doubt they are not oriented to providing you with the best possible deals and I advise you to look elsewhere as they are undoubtedly taking advantage. Even though my 90 year mother's local phone service was turned she continued to receive bill from Qwest. When the service was cancelled via phone call she was not told that she had to contact the long distance provider seperately to cancel the service. First, on the back of EVERY receipt AND listed on the big policy board above the service desk, it states" no receipt, no return", that simple. The company, ESBI - Total Protectionplus is using Verizon to charge the Verizon customers for services they did not order. The charge, usually $14.95 is shown on the Verizon phone bill as a charges on behalf of the third party, ESBI - Total Protectionplus, phone number 1-866-527-4932. I was charged for Electronic Fax Mofee. I do not have any fax or fax/modem . Verizon refuses to remove these charges from the bill. The Total reached by phone, is saying you have to pay, and they will credit you in 1-2 month. The ESBI-Total Protection is doing this for many years. My mother has an AARP credit card that she uses for paying for prescriptions by mail. Her last prescription ordered she needed to pay $6.30, when ordering she was told that her credit card did not go through as she was over limit - that is impossible as she pays her credit card EVER AND I MEAN EVERY MONTH and has a credit limit of $3000!!! This company is a small 'home-town' company who wants to play with the big boys (Orkin, Terminix, etc..). The owner actually was Terminix district manager for years (if that tells you anything).
