I signed up as a tutor with WyzAnt. They are a horrible company and I urge any who wish to tutor not to bother with these scam artists and have nothing to do with them. I am a certified teacher having a teachers license in mathematics. I thought I would tutor students in Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and other math subjects. This service is pathetic. So about 6 months ago I contacted Philips about replacing/repairing my Home Theater System with DVD Playback. They agreed to replace it, as long as I emailed them proof of purchase. After spending 2 days finding my proof, they told me I could pay to ship my old system back to them, or they would ship me one, but I would have to give them a credit card number for insurance if they didn't get something back from me. I put my credit card details in and it didn't work, so I did it again and it didnt work. So I used another card and it still didn't work, so I used ANOTHER card and it STILL didn't work. Jeff Mendham of Technomar International (also known as "Trident Marine Systems") knowingly used the credit card of the cruise company he was working for to fraudulently purchase parts from my company. The card holder notified us that Jeff of Technomar/Trident Marine had obtained their card number and used their credit card without permission and a charge back was issued. Soon after it was not possible to get a hold of Jeff Mendham, President of Technomar, by phone or email and even though he admitted to using the credit card and still owing the full amount of the invoice it has never been paid. They advertised a tract of land as ready to build on with "turn key" utilities, including a septic tank. What they DIDN'T DO is bother to find out that the existing septic tank cannot be used without all the paperwork of when it was installed, by who, where the permit was purchased etc. So now, we no longer HAVE a property ready to move onto and they are keeping our $499 ( $299 plus $200 closing costs) with a " I'm sorry for your bad luck." attitude. We have been removing snow for the Walmart store located in Scottsbluff, Nebraska for store # 01-0867 for the entire winter season. USM is now in breech of contract for non-payment.
