This was another poor experience buying furniture from Costco. I disaster. I am very good with tools, have even done contractor work and this is just terrible. The chairs do not go together at all, it took tie downs to BEND the rib frame in a way that you can TRY to get a screw in the hole. I received a notice (dated January 24th) of an alleged "debt, " related to the now-bankrupt Hollywood Video company. The "notice" does not detail what the charges might be for, but does display a "current balance." Purchased a Hoover Windtunnel cyclonic vacuum in Dec of 2010. Thru Hoover.com, it was a refurb (I have purchased refurbs in the past from other companys and other products without problems.) Management is terrible. The pay is low. Benefit packages is really not much benefits. Looks good, but not good. Be careful working for the company. They may file a lawsuit on you/do not pay you. There is no direction or structure. You may work for them for months and still not sure what to do. Take forever for something to happen. Do not have clear expectation. There are many families here in my small town, the mother and at least one of the adult offspring (some cases more) get SSI. Most all grown men). They all get food stamp separately. I went to dealership to look at used cars. 2 sales personnel convinced me to look at new. They wrote up a bill of sales and told me that if I signed it I could go home and think about it and my finance over the weekend, and if I decide that I do not want the vehicle, they will refund my deposit and hold me to nothing.
