I hired Swift Van Lines (aka Progressive Van Lines aka AY Transport) to move me on May 31, 2008. They were 45 minutes late. I received a check in the mail for the amount of $4, 890.00 and was told that it was part of $250, 000 that I had won. The first check is to pay the taxes on the winnings but I need to call them before I can cash the check. I am sure that they will want my account information so that they can get money from it and that the check I received is no good. I bought a contract with another insurance company, and now Conseco owns it. The original company went out of business. For a number of years they followed the contract. Now they have a formula so that all my 401 money that was invested in the contract will be gone by the time I reach 70 unless I pay higher premiums. This is a calculated plan to milk me of all the retirement money I invested in the policy. Be aware of insurnce investments, they are sneaky. I purchased an Abit IP-35 Motherboard several months ago. When I installed the board it had intermittent failures that I assumed was caused by faulty RAM. Upon testing the RAM, it tested bad. I replaced the RAM. Once again I received intermittent reboots and crashes. Once again I tested the RAM and it was trashed. I brough my truck to wes ward auto to get a new muffler on it. I pay them $580 and they turned around and shorted out one of my O2 sensors so the check engine light would come on.
