In July 2007 I cashed a 0% balance transfer check from Capital One, and each month since then have not only been charged 23.63% of finance charges, my principle balance even with the excess charges has not been properly credited. I have talked to account managers and senior account managers who have promised to correct this problem with written confirmation, and each time the problem only seems to get worse. After 3 months of payments in excess of $400, less than $30 has been credited toward the am0unt of the original transfer. 3515 Hudson Dr., Stow Ohio This company has absolutely no ethics. They were going to charge me $700 over what they would have charged my insurance for dental work on me and my two daughters. The problem is that is a breach of contract with the insurance company. They are not allowed to charge over the agreed upon price in their contract. In early 2007 I applied for a credit card with Continental Finance. At the onset I was slammed with charges equaling $225 and had available credit of around $60 dollars. I made charges of $66.23. I called several times to dispute my statement and could never get a live person on the line. They would tell me my information which is in black and white on my statement did not match the information on file and would hang up on me. I ordered what I hoped to be special aquamarine earrings for my mother's 65th birthday. When she received them, they were a completely clear stone, not a tinge of blue in them at all. When I called customer service to see what they could do, they told me I could return them. In December 2006, I decided to give AOL a try using some 6-month free CD I got in the mail (after that it was to be $9.95 per month). Well, I did try it and it came in handy at the time, but within 2-3 weeks I decided to pay the local phone company for DSL instead. I distinctly recall that I called AOL to cancel the trial. I bought some Halloween "Mary Jane" type slippers from Target. The slippers are made of the soft, fuzzy material and have black round treads on the bottom to prevent slipping. The freezer door on our Trio Kenmore refrigerator fell off and the earliest appointment we could schedule either online or on the phone was not until 15 October (almost two weeks from now). I bought a Nokia N6131 in Nokia Authorized dealer on 05th Nov 2006 and the product had two complaints just 6months after it was purchased. One was the Nokia charger failed completely and two the Mobile started showing SIM card registration failed and started getting switched off often. I purchased Guardian's Leather Care System Warranty when I bought leather furniture from Hecht's (now Macy's). Guardian Protection Products is an RPM company, which I would have expected to be reputable. One of the pieces of furniture was accidentally torn and I attempted to file a complaint with Guardian.
