I closed escrow on the sale of my house on 08-01-07. GMAC Mortgage automatically applied a $16+ Thousand dollar pre-payment penalty to the pay-off amount on my mortgage. I just purchased a grilled chicken sandwich at Wendy's today. I noticed the sign said new sauce. Well the sauce was unnoticeable, but the fact that the skin was still on part of the piece of chicken after I had taken several bites was not. Now I am hoping that the chicken was cooked! Dunlop has discontinued the Sport 5000! My first set lasted 46,000 miles, the second set lasted just over 25,000. Dunlop will not make an adjustment, as they say the tire is rated for only 25,000 miles. In 3 months and just 2500 miles the apparent "soft" tires lost 3/32 tread, making the tires "illegal" to drive. I answered an ad in the paper for employment. It was advertised as a Warehouse/ Customer Service Job. It was not that. Not only was the job misrepresented but their practices were very shakey. They made many promises that were lies. I worked for one week and never received pay. The work hours were from 10am to 10pm. They placed all the blacks together in one group and others in another group. The job was knocking on doors soliciting customers and not warehouse work or customer service and advertised. I know a few people that work at the warehouse for Carolina Logistics Services and it sickens me when they tell me how they have to throw perfectly good merchandise away over and over again threw out the day. Here's a good one! This guy comes to our door and says he can get us DSL as fast as our cable internet plus our phone for what we were paying for our cable internet. He calls in the order for their elite service and comparable phone service to what we had. He schedules the connection of the line by the phone people and tells us it is just flipping the switch and no one has to be there for it.
