I bought this TV from Best Buy on a Saturday in July and it died on Sunday. It turned on, flashed a few times, and shut off. We exchanged it and enjoyed it for 41 days before it died. It took 11 days for the service guy to show up and another 23 days to get the part and return. Of course either they sent or he ordered the wrong part. He said the LG changes their suppliers often so the parts change. His new power supply didn't fit my TV made in May of this year. My samsung tv which was attended to after several calls failed again with the same problem after a week. Repeated efforts to get the service technician to rectify the problem is not bearing fruit. The company has hired a bpo for taking their calls and every time i call i am promptly given the answer that my complaint will be attended to the same day. But nobody comes. I assisted my 84 year old mother in purchasing a Saturn Ion April '06 after she'd driven her old car 23 years - it only had 80K miles. It was made clear to dealer that I was there to prevent her being taken advantage because of her age, health and fixed income. My mother believes the sales mgr to be her dear good friend. I purchased an appliance from Home Depot 2 weeks ago and was told that it had to be special ordered. I advised them that I needed a delivery on Saturday. A delivery was scheduled from 9-12pm on Saturday. I had other engagements scheduled for that morning so I contacted the delivery service (Spirit Delivery from NJ) and asked for a weekday evening delivery. 1. I took their health plus credit card which was the biggest mistake of my life. 2. They kept the credit card limit to only 43000 Rs. even if i did a of transactions from it. 3. Those who dont know its a paid card for which i paid 1100 RS per year as credit card fee. 4. I had purchased this Tata Indicom Connection in November 2005 and from that till May 2007, the Tata Indicom Network working smoothly. But after the May 2007 this Tata Network is most worst network in India. You can make call all other network except this Tata. Even if you try to dial Tata to Tata, its more worst network. However the fucking people didn't even call me for verification and when I called and enquired they are asking me to call to some other place and all bull shit. I purchased my nokia e50 with (from a nokia dealer). The developed a problem within 6 months of purchase -the joy stick, select and options keys have gone dead and thus rendered the phone unusable. I have turned-in the phone in Nokia Care - Kellys - Chennai on 7th September 2007 and was told that the phone has to be returned to the factory. On April 11, 2007 I ordered online from Gately's SleekSpaces.com 4 pairs of white leather dining room chairs (total of 8 chairs), a dining room table and a Platform bed. On 8/25/07 around 11pm, I went to the Mansion Cafe located in the Showboat Casino in Atlantic City, NJ. I left my server an over 20% tip on the table. I went to the counter and paid my bill for $24.06 with my debit card. A few days later, I noticed on my bank statement that I was charged $28.86 for my bill. I called the Mansion Cafe and the accounting department. I was told that they would look into it and they would call me back in a few days or I should call them. I also emailed the company. Their credit criteria and treatment of the Sam's Club consumer is outrageous. My Dataone connection has been down for last one week. I have complained to them many-a-times, and have even been to their office to get some help to get it fixed.
