I was a customer of TataIndicom for approximately 8 months however their product - 256kbps (1GB Cap) went from bad to worse within the last 4 months. First there were frequent disconnections (not due to billing), the reason provided later was that the lines were being cut by dissatisfied/disgruntled Distributors. I was told by my salesman too that the contract was month by month and that if I was unhappy with my ad that I could call in and cancel it. I contacted many levels above this rep. and was stone-walled at every turn. These people are crooks. The fact is that Verizon doesn't even own Super Pages, Idearec does. I don't know what to do. They fall back on their click through statistics. Their argument goes something like this; "your ad is working because we see that you have x-amount of clicks or hits on your ad." How is it that in their advertising supplements in our daily newspapers always more than 50 items are listed as being on sale and in stock and in reality when consumers arrive even at opening there are NEVER more than a very few available. Sounds like advertising deception or bait and switch sales to me. Managers offer no explanation but to reply later in the week we get shipments but we never know what will be delivered. We bought a 42" plasma TV from SEARS for our children's bedroom On January 31,2007 the TV lasted a little over a month, it just quit working! I tried to take the TV back to the store where i was told that i would have to pay a 15% restocking fee (on a broken TV). My ex-husband, opened up a NEW account with JC Penney after our divorce. We were divorced 11/5/04 and the account was opened 12/04. Previously in our marriage, we had had a joint JC Penney account. This was a NEW account, with a NEW account number. My ex husband has never disputed that he opened this account for himself ONLY. He was sent ONLY one card with his name on it and it was sent to his address only. He filed bankruptcy in Oct. of 2005 and the charges were discharged. On January 2006 i went to the onlinesupplier website and i filled a form for a particular service which cost $1.95 but ever since the sum of $49.95 has been regularly removed from my mastercard every month i.e. from January till date, which is a total of 4times and the total sum is $198.80. I was told by my bankers that the withdrawal will be a total of 12 months or more of which I was not aware of such an arrangement. My car met with an accident in which its headlight broke so i took it to the company service centre as it would help me to settle my insurance claim, they repair all the other parts but were unable to get the headlights as they were electronic and were out of stocks after few days i took the delivery of the car but they gave me ordinary headlights and said they had given the order to the company for electronic headlights, after nearly 2 months of pursuance i am unable to get the headlights and my insurance claim is still pending. Airtel services in Goa have really become pathetic. Specially the GPRS service. Airtel claims to provide EDGE GPRS service in Goa. which as per claims is supposed to give you a connection speed of 256 KBPS. Which approximately boils down to a download speed of at least 25-30 KBPS. But I have never ever experienced a speed more than 12 KBPS. and that too that 12KBPS is a speed you will get very very rarely. Most of the time the speed is just around 3-4 KBPS. AT&T Phone / MCI Long Distance Service - San Francisco Calif. I am billed twice each month for two long distance services and when i complain it falls on death ears mci says its at&t problem at&t says its mci and i am caught in the middle paying for two long distance carriers that i never authorized. I have a complaint regarding the service my fiance received from sprint pcs. He lost his phone and we went through the procedures needed to get the replacement phone, which would take 3-5 days to receive. On the 5th day he received the phone but you could not hear him speak through it, nor could he hear you others speaking to him. There are three practices of their billing system that increase the likelihood of its customers making late payments. This increases BofA profits but ruins the credit of its own customers. 1. Because of possible malfunction, my gas meter was removed for testing. However, the Elizabethtown Gas Co. refuses to send me a written report of test keeping me in dark whether it was ever done, performed properly, or performed under supervision to avoid any bias.
