This is to inform you that I had gone in for a TATA Indicom phone connection last year but surrendered the phone due to continuous faulty connection as well as uncaring customer care personnel. I called to place my order for stair parts, because I needed advice. Their "specialist" assisted me and ordered handrails that were too small for the balusters. I was told by customer service that "since I had confirmed the order, there was nothing they could do". Their website lists the dimensions of the handrails as 2-1/4"X2-3/8". I was disappointed with their estimate as their ads would lead you to believe they will save you big bucks. Apparently their gig is to cater to someone who wants immediate installation and no interest for a year. The salesman measure our house at 173 yards and single figure estimate of $6000, no details. On 02-16-07 my Netspend card was lost when I went to the atm. Within minutes I realized what I had done and was on the phone to Netspend to cancel the card. We purchased a Philips DVD Burner DVDR75 for $500.00. It NEVER worked properly. The picture transfer was not true to the original and the unit was so sensitive that it would not record if the picture was too snowy. It also crashed while watching DVDs. We were trying to convert personal videos to DVD. We always had problems during the entire time. We would only receive software upgrades and we always had to speak to someone in India. We also had color issues with a Philips TV. The companies service and products are unreliable and the worst to deal with. I will NEVER deal with them or buy another product from them EVER again. My latest complaint is that when I bought my REFURBISHED HP Pavillion a1477c at Costco I was promised a free upgrade to Microsoft Vista when it came available (I bought my unit 11/07/2006). Sept. 2006 I dropped my car off at the mechanic because my breaks were "rubbing". Al, the owner, advised me that I needed new front brakes. He replaced them for $250. In our location we always face problem of delay in delivery of cylinders, not only me but all people staying here are fade up with delay in cylinder delivery.they are not lifting the telephone also, after reaching there for booking of a cylinder dealer doesn't take our bookings for next 10 days. After next 10 days when we book our gas it normally takes 15 days or more to receive a gas. I don't think in metropolitan city like Mumbai where there is very good infrastructure and transport facilities such problem should arise.
