I am very concerned about consumer abuse in the self storage postings. I see 3 kinds of problems. 1) people are sold insurance but they do not get a copy of their policy. We contracted John Dube to paint our house. He guaranteed his work for 5 yrs., and told us he was fully insured (we have this in writing). After painting our house, then have it peel off a few months later, we contacted him. He did a "patch" job, but it again did not take. AIG stated that my husband filled out a credit card form for me with HSBC to receive a Master card. Today I received a call at work from HSBC for late payment. Once I inquired about it there were charges from AIG (HSBC's insurance provider). This appears to be a SCAM.
