I ordered two AutoCool solar powered fans for my car via the website autocooltv.com. Even though I opted-out for the shipping cost of the "free" cup holder caddy, they were shipped. The total charge for shipping was $7.95 for each unit. Making the order a total of $45.88 for two $14.95 products. The company is not refunding the shipping so by the time I return the units for a refund I will have spent at least $20 just to find out that if there are any truth in advertising laws they don't seem to apply to this product which lowered the temp in the car maybe two degrees. I understand that they charge a fee to come out and give a quote. I had requested this service and paid for it in the past. I managed a property in South Elgin and called Amy to get a quote. This was in October of 2005. It was a relatively big job regarding municipal code violations and other safety issues. The place is filthy. They don't clean up. I complained numerous times that the bathrooms needed attention. It took Multiple times for me to get someone to go in to clean it up. I was told by a snippy little lifeguard that they don't pay enough to clean. I also spoke to the manager mr. Gerhardt. He stated that they always clean and that was just a one time thing. My wife was in an automobile accident and in intensive care. I called the University Park Hotel @ MIT hotel 9 days in advance to cancel the reservation. I was informed that the reservation could not be cancelled and that the credit card had already been billed. Consumers should be aware of the cancellation policy. In an effort to clean up her credit my daughter signed up with Triple Advantage to get free credit reports. She did not register for any extra benefits and should but since that time has been getting monthly charges on her debit card. She has twice called the company to request that they stop charging her, they have agreed to do so each time, but continue to charge her account each month. This is the worst! I give the sales person (Randy) a drawing and measurement (done by Lewis). Randy made the list of materials ($1996.73) and installation prices ($1213.27). When the installer came to do the installation they were short materials. Randy misses several pieces. I when back to and bought the extra material. The Laminate Store will not send the installer back unless I pay $75.00 trip fee. The Laminate Store salesman (Randy) made the mistake; therefore the Laminate Store should pay the trip fee. We recently flew it Italy via Euro Fly. Our departure was supposed to leave @ 4:45 pm on 07-28-06. We started boarding at 7:00 pm, taxied to the runway at 7:30 pm. There were about 15-20 airplanes waiting on the runways for takeoff before us........we didn't leave until 9:00 pm. So we sat on the airplane for two hours. I signed up and then after receiving my first shipment, called the company and canceled my requests so that I would not receive any future shipments or changes to my account. I returned the shipment and received a credit for it. However, a month later I received another box. This company is hard to reach and does not honor the requests of their customers when they which to cancel their original request for their products. I have since received two shipments and charges to my account. I can't get them to STOP. I guess the best course of action is to see if the bank can block all future invoice payments. I went the physician to get treatment for a sinus infection. I filled out all their paperwork with all my insurance and confidential information. I find that the cap used for switch of the pen is faulty in design as it falls off after switching the pen off sometimes. The pen was bought two months back.
