TOM TOM GPS
Jon A. Boka July 6, 2010
I would appreciate it if you would circulate the following as I have been "ripped off" and others will be, by a large U.S. corporation. I think we all resent, as recent years have shown, large companies not really caring about their impact on the so-called "little guys". I am referring to the GPS mapping company, TomTom, Inc. I recently purchased a $60 downloaded map of Greece from them which, when I used it, proved to be very out of date. It actually would not provide me with a correct map from my hotel to the... read full review »

Capital Home Shield
apak September 13, 2010
Capital Home Shield sales people pitch special device which is supposed to get a speedy repairman to fix a device. No device forthcoming, period! Contact via telephone goes to contract answering people that do not have any relay source available to have the phone call forwarded to a Capital Home Shield supervisor! They say hundreds of repairmen are available to them in Amarillo, Texas when a customer is shopping but after buying into the ripoff, none can be found when a claim is filed! The Miami BBB states, "This business is not a BBB Accredited Business." read full review »

National Tax Relief Center
Daniel Matta January 25, 2011
I called National Tax Relief Center after viewing ad on television. I spoke to Alex for about five minutes regarding my tax debt issues. He guaranteed me that my interest fees and penalty charges would be removed and I would only pay for my actual taxes owed. I paid $4, 000.00 on September 24th 2008 and made arrangements with him to pay the rest by October 24th 2010. After paying the $4, 000.00 I decided to research the company and found that they have an extremely bad reputation all over the internet. Please check Better Business Bureau... read full review »

Platinum Stages
October 15, 2007
I ordered a pole from Platinum Stages because that is where the poles at the new studio came from. Previously, I had planned to order from Markstaar, because that’s where the poles at the old studio had come from; but I decided to go with Platinum Stages because I liked the ones at the new studio, and I knew they could provide very tall (over 12 feet) brass poles. I also thought it was a good thing that they focus specifically on dance poles (rather than generic brass tubing, like Markstaar). As it turns out, Platinum Stages ha... read full review »

Bikepartsusa.com is a total scam of a company. They should not be allowed to remain in business. I placed an order for over $200 and purchased several items. I purchased a 52" TV that apparently had a poor light engine. (At a cost of $105 for the technician to advise me of the problem). I have been in contact with Mitsubishi since May 18, 2008 to come to a fair resolution. The cost of replacement is $805.00. The orginial cost of the TV was $3, 499.00. I felt they could, at the very least, replace the part. I was willing to pick up the labor cost of $300.00. They were not willing to do that. Their "final" offer was 33% or $265.00. I will start with an old clichè. 'Insurance companies are happy to take your monthly payment but not so happy to pay when there's a claim.' I had a burst pipe causing massive flood water damage to my house and pool. I put in a claim as I am covered according to my policy. An atheist engineer was sent out who gave a crooked report ignoring all the factual evidence, claiming that the water flow under my house had appeared over 'eons'. Troy Bilt
ZacO74 October 22, 2009
We purchased a self propelled Troy Bilt lawnmower. After one year the wheels and gears had to be replaced. They were very cheap plastic. After the second year the self propelled feature no longer worked. When we took it in for service we were told the transmission had to be replaced, which we were told cost in excess of $200. At this point we cut our losses and junked it. Our recommendation is to stay away from Troy Bilt. They are made with very cheap plastic materials that only last until the warranty expires. Total junk!!! Stay away at all costs. Lowes should not offer this sub par product to their customers. read full review »
