I have insured an AC unit with AHS for 15 years, only to have my claim for replacement denied. The AHS rep said that the unit is "dirty, rusty, and has mold growing on it." The unit is an outdoor unit that is 25 years old. It is dirty and it is rusty, but the mold is growing around the pad that the unit is sitting on, not on the unit itself. The coil is leaking not because the unit is dirty, but because the unit is 25 years old and just worn out. We were charged $90 for two items. We have been waiting for over 6 weeks and our order still has not shipped. Their automated phone system hangs up on you so you can't talk to them. I had set up payments to be taken out bi-weekly. What they didn't tell me was that it was only good for one year. They didn't tell me that I had to resign again. I missed a payment and they rasied my interest rate to 29%. When I called them they refused to help me or lower the interest rate. I called Good Sam Club's Continued Service Plan on 1-9-09 to advise that I was selling my motor coach and asked them for cancellation instructions. They advised that I could transfer the continued service plan coverage to the new owner by faxing them the new owner's information. December 28, 2007 I discovered that mine and my daughters vehicles had been vandalized. I immediately called 9-1-1 and my insurance company to start a claim.
