Contracted to demo an old pool and some fencing and to replace them in 3/06. There has been no work done since 4/8/06. Lots of promises but NO WORK. These guys have a website that has an "honesty manifesto" and they even offer incentive guarantee. They promise to protect you from the "pool sharks". Just had a credit card billed by these people for $5.95, and I never heard of them. No idea what service I'm supposed to have ordered, and no contact information provided so I can call or write. Very annoying. read full review »
DVD World Online aka DVD Destination

I made a DVD purchase (www.dvdworldonline.com). Much run around. Never received the product or the promised refund. I filed a complaint with NY BBB. They couldn't get this company to respond either. The purchase was for only $24 so the company knows they can thumb their nose. No one is likely to pursue legal action for that amount. Unfortunately, given Internet purchasing, most buyers won't find out they've been had until it's too late. Completely avoid this company. read full review »
BPL Mobile Communications

I had BPL mobile post paid sim with STD facility. On discontinuation, I was supposed to get refund of 2000 rs. I had changed my address of communication and submitted a 'change of address' request personally to BPL office. For one year I have not recieved any refund, on enquiry they say they have send draft to old address. The draft was handed to some unknown person as the signature on recieved receipt are not mine. No one is doing anything about this at BPL office. Although thedraft has not been encashed, they refuse to issue a new draft. This is sheer carelessness on part of BPL mobile. Contractors From Hell - Not at the BBB!
People Magazine's May 30, 2005, edition awarded the dubious honor of being 'Contractors From Hell' to certain homebuilders, including one from San Antonio and one that is a former member of the Houston Better Business Bureau.
