My Mother ordered a product from Back Joy. The product was a seat you put ina chair. She received the seat and it was worthless!!!No help at all. She sent it back and yes they gave her the amount she paid for it. She did not receive the shipping & handling charges for sending it back or for the charges for sending it. On April 21, 2009 Lexi Cruz contacted me to see if I was interested in selling my timeshare at Hilton Head. I told her that I was and listened to her scam. I bought the A R Drone Helicopter for my 13 y/o boy's Christmas present. Over $350!!! It has so many glitches, quirks, problems, and parts that malfunction that I tried to return it. Brookstone will not return it because 'that's the deal they have with the company'. The company won't do anything because, 'We didn't take any money, so we don't return money." Provident’s IS THE WORST! Their escrow department and their customer service department are screwed up so bad. It’s outrageous but, more than that, they have been unresponsive and unprofessional in the way they’ve handled my concerns. My problems began when I realized they were withholding so much extra money and I wanted to have the problem corrected. Like many disappointed customers of WebcreationUK I have been very very disappointed with the service and mentality of their staff. They don’t respond to emails. The designs they do are of poor quality. The sales team promises you everything verbally and then they don’t deliver. WebcreationUK is also a company that hides behind the small print. Uship over charges (15%) to simply pass along the shipping to 3rd and 4th party for shipping. They charge you the fee up front (with no possibility for a refund)then pawn you off to numerous vendors. The billing is totally screwed up. You MUST establish an OPEN account with the un known shipping company. You MUST give them a credit card with an OPEN line of credit!! You MUST sign and FAX this in. They lost it, and I had to re do it all over again! I made over 12 phone calls to get this going! Plan on 2-3 hours of your time!! The QuickLube lane is anything but quick. Ford Rewards owes me an oil change but the wait at the "QuickLube" has been anywhere from 2 to 5 hours on any day I've tried to redeem it for 11 months. Now Ford tells me the reward points will expire by Tuesday if I don't use them. This dealership was sold a few years back and they have gone from the best in Des Moines to the worst place to deal with I've ever seen. I fell for their add and ordered teeth whitening products. I cancelled through e-mail within ten days (that was in Nov 2010). My credit card was charged $35.81 in January (plus a FOREIGN TRANSACTION FEE of $1.07. When I called, the woman said she would turn it over to billing for a refund. My credit card was charged again in February again for $35.81 (plus again the foreign transaction fee of $1.07). When I tried calling again, the phone number wouldn't even ring the number. Beware of major repairs being rediculously expensive! My car needed new head gaskets. When their $3600 estimate (including water pump, timing belt and clutch) morphed into $6000, I paid to have it towed elsewhere. Local shop put in new engine, all above work, etc for only $2700. The service manager was polite, seemed reasonable, but their logic very flawed. They are also charing me for extra work I never requested, authorized, or even knew about until they sent the bill. I purchased a B&G generator ib July 2008, I am 68 years old, living on a limited buget. I had to borrow the money to purchase the generaator because I live in the north and power failures are common here.
