I purchased a set of Cooper Zeon 2XS tires for my 2002 Corvette on 7/3/07, at the time the car had 25, 929 miles on it. The 2 back tires were 275/40ZR/18 and cost $175.95 each. The 2 front tires were 245/45ZR/17 and cost $120.95 each. The total bill for all 4 installed on the car was $781.29. I purchased a Generac generator from Alan Power Equipment that quit working after 48 hours of use. I called the owner of Alan Power and he came out a few times and fussed around with it and finally determined that it needed a new starter. Many times when he said he came out I don't think he really did because there was no evidence of his having been here. This company sold me a rebuilt motor that failed in less than 6 thousnd miles. I'm a retired ASE Master Auto Technician. I tore the motor down and was horrified by the lack of workmanship. It is garbage. The conpany representative told me I destroyed the motor and woill not refund my money. Upon too late investigation on VW community web sites I discovered this company has a reputation for terrible workmanship. We are a small trucking company that hauls freight around the US. We frequenlty use freight brokers to keep our trucks busy and earlier this year, we hauled a truckload for A.B. Transport Sera (a trucking company in Quebec Canada). Purchased Zinik 18' wheels from Tire Rack and am completely dissatisfied with the both the product from Zinik and the service received from Tire Rack. They sell vehicles that break down within a week or two then fix them and cahrge a excessive extra payment on the vehicle for repairs. My sister, Jolandie Esterhuisen bought a Ford Bantam Bakkie in Nov 2006. Since the first day there were fumes in die bakkie. Very bad. We rented a car from Avis at Ontario Airpot. When the car was rented a $200.00 credit charge was placed. That was just fine .. no problem. The counter agent sasid it would not exceed this. After returning the car with in 18 hours, we were then charged 451.00 for less than a day of rental. They charged us for 2 days .
