I purchased an extended warranty from Heritage via my auto broker when I purchased my new car in 2003 (it's a 2004 model). I paid over $1700.00 for the contract and just in the last few months encountered an issue with my car that fell under this warranty. My dealer contacted them to get an authorization number and find out the coverage amount before having the repair done. To whom it may concern: I lease a Mercury Milan from Avis Ford at 29200 Telegraph Rd. Southfield, Mi. 48037. In 2007 of April, my car was making a strange noise, so I took in to the Avis Ford service. I was informed that had an engine knock. The service consultant name john Richardson informed me that FORD MOTOR COMPANY would not cover the charges for the repairs. Drove to Denver (5hrs-one way) to purchase a new 2008 Saturn Outlook in mid-August from Saturn North. Mid October was in Denver visiting. In July of 2008 my husband and I purchased a 2007 Mazda CX-7 from Utah Auto Sales. We traded in our 2002 Nissan Altima and they were supposed to pay us $6300 towards our payoff on our loan and then we rolled the remainder of the money into our new car loan. Went in to look at advertised pre-owned Hummer H3. Called the salesman before coming to ensure it was there. Got there and the sales manager's wife was in the vehicle. In 2008 I hired a car from the above mentioned company. A debit for the full amount was taken from my credit card and 2 weeks before taking the car a £ 670.00 deposit was also deducted from my credit card. We have 3 trucks from cheverolet everytime we try to fix something under the warranty they come up with excuses not to fix it. the lastest thing the model truck is 2008 as soon as we recieved it the windows won't work and the brakes won't either. we send it to them they inform us that since we didn't change the oil and filter from them therefore we are not under the warranty. I canceled my extended warrenty over two months ago, because I sold the car. I purchased a new car and didn't need it. I spoke to someone via the phone to confirm the cancelation of the extended warranty. They told me that I had to send a letter to confirm that I wanted to cancel the warranty. I have a loan balance discrepency withAmeristar. I have overpaid the company on my car loan. They telling me that I owe them an additional $5000 plus on my 2001 honda accord sedan. My experience is much the same has been reported in an earlier Ripoff Report about this dealer. This dealer put a motorcycle on Ebay. I bid on it, my bid did not equal the reserve price.
