I booked a Swift Lxi Model in October, 2007 with Moden Automobiles, Chandigarh. I was advised that the wait period of this model is 4-6 weeks. On number of instances, I inquired from Dealer. Each time ,I was told that the requisite model has not been dispatched by the company from their Gurgaon Factory. I also lodged a complaint with Head Office of Maruti in this regard; complaint no. 553758 dated 8.1.2008. So far the car has not been delivered. I purchased a starter online and they sent no confirmation, no receipt, nothing. Finally, they sent an email saying my order had been processed, but gave me no tracking number. When the part arrived, it was not the correct part. I sent it back and they told me I could not send it back because it was an electrical part even though I'd done nothing to it other than identify it as the wrong part. Was treated unfairly by McKay's Family Dodge Chrysler Jeep. Power Steering keeps going out no matter how fast or slow I drive. My car just cut off in the middle of the street one day and the battery light was on. My car makes a terrible crunching sound going over small bumps in the freezing cold. I just found out that this car has a lot of complaints about power steering and sway bar brushing and linkage. My warranty is about to expire and I don't have the money to fix such a dangerous car. Ridiculously strict on auto inspections and then they try to cheat you out of your money. Failed me for dirty headlights and imperfect windshield wipers. I had replaced the wipers only a month prior. We carried our SUV in for oil change & rotate our tires & had two fix one tire. There were 4 workers & one supervisor out there. There was only one worker, working at a time. Our SUV was on the workfloor over 1 1/2 hours that no one was getting anything done. We shop for about an hour, then went back two the service department & sat there four about one & half hours before they finally got through. While we were waiting they all had two take a break at one time. When we got there they told us it would not take about 1 hour to do what we wanted.
