On March 1, 2010, I purchased via phone a vehicle from Texas Direct Auto and put a $500 deposit on my credit card. That day, I received the paperwork via e-mail. I immediately completed the paperword and sent overnight priority delivery and wired the remaining $25, 230.14 which included a $600 fee to deliver the vehicle. After that, I heard nothing from the dealership. I was horrified to find I received a bill for $76 yesterday for $1 of tolls assessed to my car during the one day I was driving a Dollar rental car during my recent trip to Florida. I made every attempt to pay tolls in cash during my recent trip. However, due to Florida's all electronic system, where in areas there is only an electronic charge, and those from out of town have no way to pay, and may not even be aware a charge is being assessed. Our drivers are consistantly calling to our attention that when they fill up at a reasonable price they find between 10 to 15 cents highter when paying by credit card. I so sick of people pissing and moaning about how they were taken advantage of or "ripped off" by this shop or that shop. Most of the time customers dont pay attention to what they are told. I searched the internet to get a low price. I pre-paid with a rental company in Portland, Maine called KEMWEL.
The price included extra insurance fees and totaled $289.28 for my 8 day trip.
I got to Ireland at 9:30 am on June 2, 2009 and left brought the rental back at 4:25 am on June 10, 2009.

Told the mechanic/rep at desk that it was a ruptured hose and where as I had looked under the Tracker/vehicle and saw the problem. Not only did they refuse to work with me about the reservation, they would not transfer me to a supervisor. My driver side glass fell and broke for no reason in 2006. My car was parked in the mall, and when I opened my driver's door the glass fell. Friday, February 19th I dropped my 2005 GMC Sierra off at the early – drop at GMC Escondido. On the drop envelope there is an information form, which includes the time a customer will call to check on their vehicle and a place to write contact numbers, both home and work. They took 5 days to ship my order, and then refused to refund $18.00 for the brake caliper core return. I spoke with Katy (X414) and Customer Service Manger Portz (X1033) in an effort to resolve the issue. That process took 30 minutes.
They insist a "discount" was applied to the core return amount. I was never informed of this "discount" until AFTER I returned the core.

I called transmission king in Loganville, ga. and told them my van transmission was slipping in 3rd gear and I was told by the owner Chuck to bring the van there and they would check it out for free and call me with the problem and price to fix it. Had a water pump put in my vehicle at the Old Bridge location. They misdiagnosed the problem (it was not the water pump). One year and less than 10, 000 miles later, I had an antifreeze leak and broke down. I had the nearest repair shop fix it. It turned out to be, the water pump and a new one was put in. I was contacted by this company for an extended auto warranty by USPS. The initial warranty information never mentioned anything about worn or burned parts resultin in a denied claim; however, after I had already signed up for the warranty and provided my debit card information for automatic monthly deductions, I received a handbook with these two terms listed which would cause a claim to be denied. Then they asked for maintenance records which I provided. Then they said those were invalid as they didn't have the payment method, and the vehicle VIN. I bought a warranty for my car in 2006, did all the requirements they suggested for the warranty to go in effect. In 2010 my car ran hot, had it towed in call the warranty service thety told me to take it to a dealer have them notify the claim department. They finally got back with a fax after the shop faxed them all the information about the problem, saying the claim was denied.
