I bought a 2007 Saturn Ion one month ago. The car is extremely unsafe to drive & the dealer has done a poor job addressing the seriousness & safety concerns I have. I bought a corsa from arnold clark in dundee in 2004 . It was recalled twice in the first 2 years for engine problems. Since that everything has gone wrong with the car. Its had a new heater cooling system gear box broke suspension went water pump was the latest thing and the mechanic has told me I need a new engine the car cannot go down the street without the water bubbling up. My son was hit head on at 50 mph by a Safe Auto Insurance Co. customer. My son was not at all found to be at fault. The Safe Auto customer failed to maintain his lane, and hit my son head on. My son's car was totaled, and he sustained pretty bad injuries. The accident happened on March 10, 2010, and as of yet we have not received payment for the cars value. I brought my 2009 Venza in for electrical issues. They had the car twice and could not fix. Then when I complained a third time, all records of the complaints disappeared and they refused to service the car any further. It turns out it was a wire shorting out to the roof which now has been fixed. I was amazed as to how they wiped the record clean of any problems. I went to get my car serviced. In the evening after I got my car from the service center and was going home, the brake simply jammed the vehicle. I was unable to move the vehicle on the 3rd gear and there was some burning smell coming from the vehicle. I called up the service center but it had closed its operations for that day. Next day, when I came to the service center, they are blaming me for the brake getting jammed accusing me that I do not know how to drive properly. They are not ready to accept their negligence. I purchased a 2006 Jeep Commander, brand new, in 2007. The vehicle, which has less than 75K miles on it, has been in the transmission shop for the past week getting the transmission rebuilt and a new torque converter. I had ALWAYS wanted a Jeep and was excited when I finally got one. When you think of Jeep vehicles, you think of tough, rugged vehicles. Not piece of junk vehicles that need major repairs at 75K miles. The transmission isn't the only problem I have had with the vehicle, but it's by far the mostly costly.
