how is what this company does legal? they should be behind bars. i am tempted to fly out to their supposed address and see for myself, and personally deal with them.
they basically stole my money, and after months have yet to receive any products.
this company is a scam. they have nothing they say. go somewhere else for a computer. you will be lied to, hung up on, ignored, and dismissed.
could never have imagined such a terrible experience when dealing with a company. i can't believe they've been doing what they do for as long as they have. if anyone has an attorney and is pursuing them. i want in. they deserve to go down. read full review »

I bought a Acer desktop about 2 years ago, during the first year, the motherboard and hardisk gave alot of problem, luckily it was during the warranty period and was replaced but recently after the waranty period the whole compuer hang and shut down, I called courts to come down and have a look as I had bought extended warranty from them. On Decemeber 31, 2009 I purchased a Canon Rebel T1i Digital Camera from Electrobrand aka Redtagsavings. I recieved my order about a week later. Thought everything was great, come to find out it wasn't. I started using the camera and when I downloded the pictures it would show a spot on it. I am absolutely disgusted by the amount of information cisco requested to login for a simple support download utility. HEY CISCO THIS STUFF SHOULD BE AVAIL WITHOUT LOGIN!
After 1/2 hour of pisisng with password requirements, eg. too long. tooo short. not enough characters. where did I go to school. (Why on gods green earth would I want CISCO to have this info anyway) just tyring to make a login username and passwd. I gave up. Why is it when you pay money upfront for goods that they cannot give you the money back right away? they are quick enough to take. I have been a customer of Next retails UK for many years and usually shop on line but this last couple of months the customer service has been terrible. Sept., 2009, I purchased 2 Kenwood Model EW7507EK authomatic thermostat oil filled heaters. I emailed De'Longi's Customer Service on why the heaters do not give off much heat and seem to be in need of more oil and requested to be advised where I can get the heaters serviced. Their only response was to ask me to provide them with my complete identification info (Name, Address, Phone Nr, email address, etc.). I included a contact telephone number in my email to them. Six weeks ago I purchased a new Sony VGNNW270F laptop. One week ago, the laptop was sitting on the table and my husband moved it 6 inches. He admits to having had his thumb on the screen. I purchased a Fortec Star satellite receiver in December after the sales pitch claimed that you simply plug in a hard drive via the USB in the front panel and you can pause and record live TV. I couldn't get it to work so contacted the supplier who tried a couple of things with no success. They contacted Fortec Star but eventually gave up trying to get them to sort the problem out and even gave me the mobile phone number of the UK boss as they were so fed up with the lack of service. The W595 broke down 4 times in 3 weeks!!!
Give you an example,
I collected it in the morning of 30/01/2010, but it went wrong again in the evening.
What's wrong with it? I wonder whether it is the matter of the quality of Sony Ericsson handphones. I got this handphone on 22/02/2009. Is it able to be used for less than one year only?
By the way I use this handphone as I did with my last hanphone which is not of Sony Ericsson. My last handphone is now still OK after 2 years. But why has the W595 always been wrong?

It was only then that I learned they not only charge a restocking fee of 25% but that they won't refund your money. They will only give yo a gift certificate. NO WHERE during the purchasing process did they alert the consumer to this dishonest business practice. I was told by Customer Service that I should have read the "general conditions" statment which I later found buried in small print. Jan 2008 purchased DVD Recorder, it no longer works. I took it into the store where I purchased and they asked if I purchased at their location -- the address was printed at the top of the page! Then they would give NO indication of when the repaired item was to be returned. I am totally dissatisfied with everything HH Gregg and beyond this will never buy again. I called HP and they said if I sent them the computer they would replace the fan and I should have the computer back within about 3 weeks. I use the computer for work so that was not a good plan. My GE Adora Dryer purchased through Home Depot started making horrible noises. After two service calls (expensive) and no fix I was advised to call GE since the drum was flared and was still under warranty. The tech said he had seen a lot of this with these dryers. GE refused to replace the drum, telling me the warranty was for only one year. My owners manual only covers 3 models of GE dryers. They tell me that I have the wrong manual and it does not cover the drum, even though the manual says it does. I was told that the manual covers many appliances, (not true) and did not cover mine. I just purchased a HP P2035n LaserJet Printer. The printer works great and is quite fast. Here is the big problem!!! The price of the cartidges is ridiculus. I have purchased two cartidges and they were more than the cost of the printer. I am trying to find recycled cartidges, but because the printer is so new no one carrys them. I am going back to my old printer where I can get cartidges for 1/2 the cost of HP or Office Depot cardtridges, the two biggest ripoffs. In December of 2009 I ordered the Norton Internet Security for $73.16 . In Janurary of 2010 I received my Discover Card bill and it showed a bill from Direct River Internet for $54.61. Which I didn't order. Discover card did a investigation saying both companies are the same and are now billing me again for the $54.61 from Direct River Internet. Have a Beko washing machine WMA5410 for nearly a year brought Feb'09, Motor/Circuit board blew on the 23rd Dec '09. Engineer came out on the 5th Jan '10, parts ordered an engineer arrived on the 23rd Jan ( after the scheduled engineer on the 21st fell ill ).
New PCB install, but the new motor was broken. Engineer wait away ordering a new part. It's now nearly 3 weeks later an still no engineer or part.
5 weeks of laundrette washing £30 a shot ( Wife +2 kids, couple more weeks of this and I might as well have brought a new washing machine ( NOT BEKO!!! )

I bought the DVD player on 9/19/09 and from the start the remote control only worked when it was less than 1 foot away from the player. They nicely sent me a replacement remote, but upon first use it worked just like the first. I lived with that problem, as my time has been too busy to do otherwise.
On 2/7/10 I went to insert a DVD into the player, but with the remote the player would shut on for 2 seconds, then shut off. I tried it manually w/o the remote, same result.

This store has the worst customer service I've seen in 10 years. I bought a laptop that was offered on the website with a package worth $150. They gave it to me without th package saying they can't match the offer and then I came back again to replace it with another laptop since I felt like being deceived and they wanted to charge me a restocking fee for exchange. The manager was very rude. I spent over $4000 over the years on this store but this will be my last time buying from Bestbuy.
Please be aware when buying things even within the 14 day period since they'are gonna charge you if you exchange. Very frustrating. read full review »
