I purchased an Apex digital 19" lcd TV-model LD1919 for $250.00 in August of 2008. In May of 2008 it has died. I called the company and they told me to send them the TV, pay them $50 and they will fix it. I checked the web and there are many, many owners of this same TV and model that have had the exact problem--some sooner and some on my time table. This TV is obviously defective and Apex knows this. Bought a PC from Comet in Sept 08 and experienced problems within the first week. Went to store and reported problem and was told we had to contact Acer direct and that Comet could not help. Contacted the Acer helpline and explained my computer was freezing with everything I tried to do, they told me I had to re-set the computer to factory default settings and talked me through how to do it. I have been with Sirius for over 4 years and have purchaed several radios. I have the S50 portable unit and I had an issue in October 0f 2007 with the radio which they eventually replaced. Lenovo is a scam when it comes to Thinkpad batteries. I called Lenovo after buying a new $3000 Thinkpad computer a little over one year ago. Ever since I purchased the computer the batteries have been charging less and less. Finally, both Lenovo batteries died so I called Lenovo support to get them replaced. I have contacted E-Secure Services to inform them I will be submitting a letter of complaint to the Attorney General of the State of Texas. I believe that everyone else must do the same in order to prevent these illegal and unethical practices from happening to others. I am imagining that there are elderly individuals who do not review every detail of their bills and are being charge for who knows what for. I am an American living in Spain who was looking for a DVD player with a hard drive to record programs while I am at work. I ordered a Crystal Machine from Sublimagic. I was aware that their would be a 6 week wait which i duely waited but I still had not received anything on week 8. I was told it was despatched but DHL had seemingly lost it. They told me they couldn't get another machine in and that they would refund my monies into Paypal amounting to £189.98. We've been using our new 50" Samsung plasma TV for 5 weeks, all of the sudden while we're watching TV a loud noise comes out of it and a line starts appearing on the screen. I've emailed them numerous of times to reinstate my creditcard, but the answer is; (in short words), they are working on it. Used to do my own backups, got 40 years experience in s/w development, and it make my gut sick when I have to deal with people supposedly providing s/w for you needs. This includes NTI, and Intelenet. Have sent minimum of 7-8 tech support emails to these (companies?) with not one response. Also have asked and filled out a form for getting my money back.
