I bought an Element 40" TV (model#40LE45Q) from Sears on black friday after Thankgiving 2009. Its January 27 2010 and the screen wont turn on. I called the Element customer help # and I get a recording to leave a message and we'll get back to you. It also says not to leave more than 1 message in 24 hours. To me this sounds like a blow off. They call you right back if they think that they are going to get money out of you, but if you have a problem, you will never hear from them again. I only replaced my dishwasher because it was noisy ~ it worked fine. I replaced it with the Frigidaire 4000 Series with AquaSurge.. supposed to be quiet. HA!! I ordered a copy of an instruction manual for an older Singer brand serger. It costs just over $20.00 with shipping and handling. The copy is of such low quality that I'm sending it back. It's useless because the illustrations copied so dark that no detail can be seen. This company claims to build custom homes. The thing is you don't get to choose what you want because " it's not in the budget". A 150, 000 home, 1425 sq. ft. no fire place, step you can purchase at a trailer supply place, no garage or landscaping. Watch out for Bay Alarm! We purchased an alarm system from them after we were burglarized and they used double sided tape on rough sawn lumber to mount the door transmitter. This resulted in another successful burglary at our house where they removed the door transmitter with a putty knife and duct tape. The alarm didn’t go off because the transmitter was taped together by the burglars. Called and ordered Montels Health Master, sounded good, but the next day we looked on line and they charged us for 2 of them they were not the same price one had $30.00 warranties the other was $19.99 for the warranties which we didn't want the prices for the unit them selves were different 1 was $199, 96 the other was $159.00 one had $19.99 S&H the other had $29.98. Very poor customer service. They talk over you while you are trying to talk to them. They do not go along with the customer. What happened to the customer is always right. They will not try to work with you. Would rather argue with you instead of just trying to give better cusomer service. We have only had this dishwasher since August and this is the second time it has gone out. The first time the tech ordered the wrong part. They don't even carry the parts. They have to have them delivered to the customers home. On August 18, 2008, I signed a five year contract with Direct Energy. Before that I was with Hydro Ottawa. Since signing contract with DE, I am now been charged double what I used to pay with HO. I hired JEC Remodeling to lay flooring, install a new sink and paint a bedroom and got cheated out of money and quality. The job was to take a week and ended up taking two because Juan was on the phone nonstop with his parents. ARW Construction LLC contracted Lackey Enterprises Inc. to perform directional boring tasks for a job they were doing in the Lincolton NC area. The invoices were paid on a regular bases until the job was complete and ARW moved out of town. At that time they stopped all payments and communications with Lackey Enterprises.
