I booked for an engineer to come and unblock our drains this morning to be told that someone would definitely arrive between 3-4pm. At 4pm I phoned to find out where the engineer was only to be told that he had broken down and had no guarantees that he would even come today! I am furious as this was and still is an emergency. I would expect every company to have a customer service desk that at least calls existing appointments to inform them of the delay. This has ruined my day as I am still without any drainage and now have to wait another night to get this solved. Thank you dial-a-rod for wasting my time! read full review »

Bought a new Dryer from Sears several months and already had them replace it once as it rattled so bad that you could hear it anywhere in the house. The new one worked for a few months and wouldn't dry clothes any longer. Had Sears repair out and first guy was clueless. Had to call the engineers to tell him what was wrong. He ordered a part and rescheduled another tech to install it. A week passes and the second guy comes out and tries to install the part. Installed pool at my home in 2008 - poor communication from owner and lousy follow-up on problems. After the sale concerns were not handled completely and timely. Would not recommend them to others. I purchased a roof with a 25 year warrenty in March of 1999 and it has leaked since installed. Our ceiling has collapsed twice. I have made numerous attempts to contact Mr.Brewster with no luck or reply. His phone numbers have been disconnected and he uses different business names to hide behind. I bought my bed from a mattress firm. They told me that the bed was exactly the same as the sleep number but it is not. The bed had torn in three spots after 5 months of owning it
At first, the bed just wasn't comfortable and we can't figure out why.. we went to the sleep number store, got our numbers (which were wrong from mattress firm) and we were sleeping better but the bed wasn't quite right..

Mike came out on 11-24 and 11-25-2009 and repaired my roof, so I thought. I went on and had my living room ceiling repaired and when it rained the following week, the roof leaked and messed my ceiling up. I called Mike 3 times. The first time I called, he called me right back. Every time I called after that, he would not return my calls. I purchased 800 sf of click lock laminate flooring for $1300. Upon installation and inspection of the product and a consult from a professional installer it was determined that the product was defective. The ends snapped when installed causing the floors to lift and gap. I contacted the company and sent photographs, they replied by saying it was my problem and it must be something we were doing. The flooring litterially snapped with the press of a finger! I am very disappointed. Purchase at your own risk and know that if there is a problem you will be hung out to dry! read full review »

Bought Samsung RSG257AAWP 2 months ago - Icemaker doesn't work - Refrigerator can't be leveled on a level floor, Door hinge or cam bent. after no less than 5 different service techs ordering parts and working on this Samsung RSG257AAWP no one can fix it. the property we live in recently got over 20 inches of snow. we have been told since yesterday that out our property would be plowed. we had an ambulance that came into the property on a call and got stuck in the snow. one of the property managers told us when we asked him and told him about the ambulance and his response was "oh well, not my money or problem to deal with" when he was told that the property was going to be fined. everyone in the complex pays maintence fees that include snow removal lawn services etc. we still have not... read full review »

I have a service warranty from Sears to cover a Maytag Neptune Washing Machine. This company DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO PERFORM CUSTOMER SEVICE ON ANY LEVEL! Over the past 5 years we have had service performed on this machine 5 times. The process is maddening. First you have to call SEARS 4 MY HOME and try to get a live person...this takes up to 20 minutes of trying various answers to a computerized system that is designed to frustrate you to the point you don't want to continue. filled the snow thrower with gas (clean and fresh)
checked the oil level (fine, proper level 5w30)
wheeled it outside the garage to start it
set the choke and throttle to proper settings
pulled the cord...turns over doesnt start. (tryed several times)

I had a security company, a few months ago, exclaim how they could install a free alarm system and I would only pay 23 dollar a month on a 3 year agreement for my business. So the sales rep came to educate me on their services. This is by far the worst purchase I have ever made. I have owned my stove 65 days and it has only worked for 6 days. I might add 6 days not in a row. It was dead when it came out of the box. Customer service sent part after part. Finally I had enought and told them to send me a new stove which they said they would . Just one problem, I would have to bring the 238 lb stove to the shipper and take delivery there of the new one and haul it into the house myself. I said no it want my money back. I purchased a sofa, love seat, and recliner from WG&R in Green Bay. The sales associate sold me the Ultra-Shield warrenty stating that any stain, rip, etc. would be covered by the company.
