My partner ordered American Woodmark cabinets through Lowe's in 2004. We didn't install the cabinets until 2006. Drawers were of poor quality and after complaining to Lowe's the mfg. sent out a rep. Bob's DISCOUNT Furniture is called that for a reason. The couch I ordered was delivered with a hole in the fabric; when I asked for a new one they said they didn't have another one like it and would send some one to repair it. We could not schedule a time to fix it that would work for us so they're solution was to send us a package of fabric. We bought a bed in March 2008 and had problems within 2 months. (the pillow top was a defect). Call the store to trade out for a new bed, find one are told we would have to wait another 2 weeks for delivery. They finally call us on Friday, Sept 5th/08 and say they will deliver on Saturday. I rented a Maytag washer and dryer from them, in March of 2008 I had problems with my washer I called Aarons in Pittsfield, MA so the could repair my washer it took them 2 months to fix my washer. My associaton is responsible for all ranch style condos back yards because they are attached to eachother, per the bylaws. They refuse to fix the gate or fence that is in much needed care. They did however put a new post in so the gate door does not collapse. I emailed them to please trim my tree that they have trimmed for the last 4 years in my back yard and it states int he bylaws the Homeowner cannot trim the trees or bushes and in the ranch homes in the backyard. We ordered a new front door last fall (not cheap over $1000) from this company on l'Acadie Blvd in Montreal. They messed up the order; and gave us a white door instead of a black one. They then came back to paint it and said it was "guaranteed" to hold. A motor failure in a front-loading, heavy-duty, water-efficient Frigidaire washer (model 417.440842) triggered the failure of both the motor and main control boards according to a qualified service person. Two service visits and replacement of the main control board was needed to determine that. The cost to replace the two boards is $700 plus service cost. This is the second home that I have built. Never have I run into so many unresolved issues...not only did it take over 6 months to finish, it was done carelessly. The railing did not pass code. It was visible to low on the wall. They did not cut out a space for the hot water tank tobe vented. The Kenmore Elite Trio Refrigerator is a terrible product! I have had mine 1 year and 3 months and it has been nothing but trouble. I had either 4 or 5 service calls in the first year. The most serious ones involved the icemaker fan. A service call means getting off of work and being by the telephone from 8am to 5 pm waiting for a call from the service person. So that was 4 or 5 days off work. Having this refrigerator is like having a sick child. You will miss a lot of work. 3 year old refrigerator/freezer stops working, ice melts onto the floor and ruins the hardwood floor. Loss of food is expensive and 7 days without anything is very terrible. Also the door jam where the heater is to seal the door gets very hot, not only is it yellow now in color, but part is bowed out and cracking. Repair man says this is normal wear, and can't be fixed. Its only 3 years old and 6, 447.oo later this what I have to deal with. If it looks this bad now what is it going to look like 7 years from now.
