Roux Attorneys George
We have been struggling to get the amount of R5000 for a geyser that we replaced in the house of Mr Lee since April 2008.Mr Roux, the attorney, handling this complaint does not come back to us or give us any feedback on the case. I spoke to him three weeks ago and he said that if Mr Lee does not pay up within the next week he would take him to the court for small claims but up to this date we have not heared anything from Mr Roux. It seems like Mr Roux thinks this is to a small complaint to really give his attention to.
What can we do?

Do not buy from these people- they are the worst, most unprofessional company I have ever done business with. I purchased a large desk from "Computer Desks and More, " one of the many internet companies they do business under (probably so that no one associates that business with all of the numerous complaints about Cymax.) Blinds To Go
Well I don't know about buying from them but after going for a job interview with 'Blinds To Go' during the 1st interview the lady asked me if I have any children. And during the second interview the second lady nonchalantly tried to make conversation and stated that 'AT MY AGE' I should think about having children. I WAS SHOCKED. Martin's Furniture
I purchased from Martin's Furniture:
a) Sofa, Loveseat, Ottoman, Endtable
b) Queenbed, Nightstand, Chest
c) Coffee and Endtable
on April/4/2008.
I have not received c) until today (August/15/2008). On repeatedly calling and going to Martin's Furniture all we hear from the people there is "your furniture is in transit. It is coming from canada".
We are disgusted and totally unsatisfied with the services provided by this furniture company, and recommend all customers to beware of these unlawful practices this furniture outlet has to offer amongst all the other furniture shops on 22 West. read full review »

I'm am so sick of Conn's, my Lupus has literally come out of remission due to the stress of dealing with this company. Everything was going fine until I made the mistake of going into the local appliance store and purchasing a laptop on February 23, 2008. When the oil price is increase, all the things' prices are also increase. It's reasonable. However, the government has announced the oil price had decreased 15 cent. How about the things' prices? Especially for the electricity charges which increase around 40% - 50%. This was very burden for many people including for the businessman and government. Despite of several complaints about the new bought gas stove. Company kept ignoring the fact that it can cause some damage. They are not willing to replace the set despite of the fact that it was bought and complaint was entered into their system within next 15 days of purchase/use. BEWARE if you are in dire need or just want to buy new furniture. TRS Furnishings is actually a collection agency as described by the Better Business Bureau! Sometimes people want to buy something new because their credit is not up to par. I was given the option to pay a "90 day same as cash". I had a picture window installed in July (2008). The second day after installation it rained and I noticed water in the inside track of the window. I called and they said that it was normal. Whoever heard of a window that leaks? Champion Windows.

International Furniture
I recently purchased living room set from this company and was assured everything was in stock and delivery was scheduled for the following week. Upon delivery my wife noticed everything was wrapped in dirty moving blankets and everything seemed to be display / used merchandise. Upon revisiting the store we noticed the set was gone then after we canceled and waited over a month for a refund the set reappeared with the same scratches as seen at our house.

I just came in from discovering more leaks in the plumbing of my spa. My tub has had one problem or another for more than 50% of the time. Before this spa I owned one from Home Depot that worked without a problem for 13 years. It actually moved with us 2 times. From day one my PDC Spa has been a nightmare. The spa has had the control panel replace multiple times. My circuit breaker blows on a regular basis. I have flashing lights. Simmons Beautyrest Mattress
Simmons, what a joke!! They do not honor their warranty. My top of the line Exceptional mattress failed in less than a year with two trough like depressions where we lay. This was deemed "normal compression" by Simmons. I am told the more plush and expensive the mattress, the more likely this is to occur... it is conforming to our bodies. I'm a disabled vet who can no longer use this very expensive piece of junk, can not afford to replace it and must now sleep on the couch or be forever unable to escape my mattress. I had a bedroom set delivered for my daughter, although we did not pay alot, we did not expect great quality but something decent until she is older, then we'd buy a quality- long term furniture. Well boy did we make a mistake in buying from Bob's. We had to have the original set returned because of crack, nicks and blemishes. The second set was slighltly better with the exception of a dresser, and the third dresser was cracked after we were told the manager will inspect this before it is sent out. Hi Sense Washing Machine
I bought a Hisense washing machine in Octber 2007 - hifi corporation delivered it home. In March 2008 this machine did not work properly. I phoned hifi corp only to be told that they cannot help me as i could not produce proof that i purhcased the goods ther. The Indian lady was extremely rude and unhelpful. Our home has been two years in the planning and building. Over a year ago I went to Rock Tops in Saline, MI and met with David Gough. Our architect had specifically designed the kitchen island to be a “showpiece” of the home. It was large (5’ x 9’) but designed so that a single piece of granite would be used as the countertop. Purchased 5 Kitchen Aid Appliances in 5/02 when re-modeling Kitchen. All have had at least one repair. The Refrigerator has had 2 repairs for the same problem once in 2004 and one this year. My Mother purchased a hot water tank from Sears about 4years ago with a warranty. As of June 2008 it stop working. She called the repair department they came out and fixed the problem. This is with regard to the poor quality of service displayed time and again by both the LG customer care executives and the LG service engineers which has made me resolve not to indulge in any other LG product again. Only the lowest level of customer satisfaction can be the outcome of inefficient and untrained CCEs who for some reason miscommunicate every time to consumers like me. I don't want to get into the details of the nightmarish experiences I have had with the poor level of service displayed by LG. Window World
We hired Window World of St. Louis to remove and install 13 windows. First they showed up 4 hours late, then rushed to get the job done while it rained outside. They kicked out the old windows, not putting drop cloths down inside. In our spare bedroom, they did put a drop cloth down, but managed to severely scrape our newly-finished hardwood floor. There is still caulk on our kitchen cabinets, and the stickers still remain on our windows. They did not clean at all.

I have 2nd $1300 pillow top serta king mattress within 1 year. Both formed sinkholes on both sides. Wake up with sore backs. What junk. I am going for my money back or exchange for a good old plain firm mattress. Probably will end up putting this out to the curb, and write it off as a loss. Where do we go from here after 2nd replacement... junk junk serta products stink just like the wet sheep on their products .this seems to be the standard complaint from many people who own this junk. 2 months ago I bought an entertainment center from linders furniture which cost $1, 565.85 I was happy at first with the product but then this is what happened. The wood grain began to peel and one of the glass doors fell off! I came home one day from work and their it was on the floor broken in pieces. Northern Illinois Fence and Fox Valley Fence & Supply Co of 320 W Lincoln Hwy, Cortland, IL 60112, did not complete the installation of the fence promised. Numerous safety, building code, manufactures installation, and cosmetic issues have not been addressed.
As you follow the time line of events you will see that I have made multiple attempts to meet with, talk to and email Fox Valley Fence to resolve the issues with the incomplete installation of the fence. Fox Valley Fence refuses to meet, call back or return emails.

Superior Roofing
Last fall, they put in 2 skylight in our sun room. They leaked during winter. Superior came and said problem was in trying to join one layer of shingle to two. We were referred to this company through the christian radio station 99.3 KLTY so we thought is would be safe.
Several months went by at a rate of 11.9 Cents per KW so needless to say we were happy and seen no reason not to be. We went out of town for two weeks in July and expected our bill to be cheaper. When it arrived in the mail, much to our surprise our 11.9 cent rate jumped to 19 cents per KW and our bill was $100.00's more then the previous month despite the fact we had used HALF the electricity!

Gasfix Scott Lathe
Scott Lathe of Gasfix was asked to supply a quotation to fix my pool heater. When the cost was about $1300.00 I told him I would need to get a second quote, This is just good business. I told him I would pay for the service call if I did not use his services.
He returned the next day and removed the heater. He was charge by Hamilton Regional Police and they told me he has done this in the past.
I am sueing him in small claims court. If anyone has been a victim as have I, contact me and I will help get your money back without any costs to you. read full review »
