Keith Thomas was to have cut down dead trees in our yard, ground down stumps, and returned with mulch. He was 2 weeks late in removing the trees and then asked for the entire payment. Once the checkes were cashed, he did not return our calls or to our home. The stumps have not been taken care of and the mulch that we paid for has not been delivered. This company was paid for a very large landscaping project at our home. One month after the start of the project 2 large expensive trees died. Owner promised they were covered under warranty and they would take care of it. One year and two months after the project was dropped by Dreamscapes we have had to hire someone else to buy trees and plant them for us. I sent a certified letter to Dreamscapes and they refused it. I purchased a home in Livermore California in 2001. The roof was new in 1997 and just recently I had a inspection to say the roof shingles that where used are under warranty for pre-mature cracking and that the same type of shingles have been replaced on many homes. I requested a replacement under a pro rated work up and was declined stating that since I was not the original owner so the warranty was not transferable. I do not think this is fair and for me to replace a roof only after 11 years is unheard of! Upholstered Dining room chairs from Restoration Hardware purchased in September, 2006, are less than 2 years old & they squeak! This happens every time we sit down on 5 out of 6 chairs purchased. We bought 2 chairs and a couch from Braden's. The chairs were chosen from a photo and a "similar" piece was shown to us on the showroom floor. Upon delivery, they were not the same at all. They'd only do an exchange, not give a cash refund, even though we they mislead us. When we got the couch, it very poorly constructed. We called to order repairs and they have yet to call back to schedule the pick up. We spent $2000 for this furniture and are stuck with substandard items, two of which we didn't even want. Well I was a first a little excited to get Nations Fence to install a fence for me but shortly after realized that their service and customer loyalty rates about a 2/10 on my scale. I am very forgiving but still feel that Nations Fence customer service and loyalty are very poor. My fence went up pretty quick but I have never seen such poor craftsmanship. This store and its owner not only added an extra charge (over $150!!!) to my card, which after the credit card company investigated decided was fraudulent and removed, but they tried to do the same thing (over $200!!!) to a friend who made another small purchase after me the day we were there! I purchased a whirlpool front load washer at trail appliances ltd 2 years ago the washer broke down and I had a repair person come in he told me it needed 3 parts and that it would take 2 to 3 week to get them. After waiting 8 weeks and being told by trail that it will be 5 days every time I called we concealed the parts and brought a new washer and it was not a whirlpool!!! They suck big time!!! My husband and I hired The Custom Edge to Dig out, level and pour a concrete patio in our back yard in Fayetteville, Nc. The company failed to delivery the bed when stated -actually early, which was a huge problem due to the fact that it was gift for a five-year-old and I was out of town and the bed had to sit for three weeks before I arrived home to put it together. We had a bathroom remodel done with them, and they convinced us to let them do the contracting work and project management, as they said it would save us a lot of hassle. File a complaint with the BBB in Ohio. I just did and there are numerous complaints against Accent Energy for these sudden rate hikes in Texas. Its shows that some of these billing issues have been resolved so maybe the BBB is doing something about it where as it does not appear that the PUC of Texas or the Attorney General's Office is doing anything. I am new to building and tried working with this company on panellizing my house. It all sounded nice, they even got a bank to setup a loan with no 10% down through them. But, after months of no progress on a house plan from scratch, $1000 down to start, and $7000 to end business with them, they did pretty much nothing. Do not use Landmark. We made a purchase of a complete King Enlivenment ET w/Perfect Day Boxsprings in the amount of over 2K and within 7 months the springs had sprung. I made phone calls starting in Oct. and was told that they did not know when they could get someone to check it out. I got a new GE dishwasher last year and paid $850 for it. We won't even talk about all of the delivery issues and damaged GE appliances that I refused to accept.
