We installed Syn Lawn that we bought for our 3 small dogs in late October 2010. from Lowes. We were told by Lowe's that it was a great product if you had dogs. We installed this product in our vacation home. The area we live in we can't grow grass because of water restrictions. This winter we've had lots of rain and snow. Completely lied to us about waterproofing. Quite possibly the biggest ripoff. They charged us 18, 000 to "waterproof" our basement. They basically dug a 12inch trench around the basement floor and put piping in that connects back to a sump pump. The idea is that the water pours under the house, the sump pump dumps it out. This method DOES NOT WORK. My basement has flooded 10+ times severely and about 20+ times as just a little puddle here and there. OHIO STATE WATERPROOFING IS A SCAM. I accidentally set my alarm off, they called me for the code which was never given to me. When they determined I couldnt provide this information they called the police which was dispatched and sent to my home (guns drawn and even a chopper). I called them after receiving a violation citation from the city of Houston due to no permit to have an alarm system to complain but they said it was all explained to me during my sales conversation. The Fireplace People on Rt. 73 in West Berlin, NJ did not install our fireplace properly. As a result, an ember fell through an opening in the firebox and ignited a wood support starting a fire that caused so much damage we were out of our house for 8 months. This is the worst screen door I have ever purchased. I have a screen which rolls up and becomes an all glass door. The first door's screen split along the bottom and when I called for a replacement, the company told me that I would get a replacement screen but I had to install it myself and it was was really easy. We had Fulgenzi Plumbing install a dishwasher and fix a leak under the sink. This was quoted at $250. Anyway, when we received the bill it was $830 (less a discount of 30%?). I inquired about the other work done and had no idea there were other problems that needed to be repaired. My Kenmore Trio refrigerator was purchased either 2005 or 2006, about 2 months after purchasing, the ice make quit, no biggie as long as the rest works. Yesterday 5-15-11, the refrigerator quit cooling and the freezer is steady at 3 degrees although it was always set to 0. This is the last Kenmore I buy. I purchased a replacement washing machine about 8 years ago, after 3 years it crapped out, so I purchased a Bosch.
