I am so completely appalled and disapppointed in Restoration Hardware for their new catalog which is the size of a book and probably killed 4 trees just to make it not to mention all the ink. We built a new home in 2002 using Andersen green vinyl clad, double hung windows. The windows started fading right away (after I was assured by Andersen that they wouldn't). After 9 years the fading is significant. Their solution was they would paint them. I bought vinyl clad so I wouldn't have to paint, so I have delayed any decision. Simmons Beauty Rest (Wandsworth) Mattress set purchased 3/19/2011, delivered on 3/22/11. I have owned my Serta Cali-King, Vera Wang Beyond Exquisite Organic Cotton Mattress for 2 years. I am amazed that Serta is still in business with their HORRIBLE customer service. I moved in this place in March, and when we were seeing the house, they said they gonna change all the old windows into brand new windows. I purchased a bunk bed for my son 26 Mar 11, the delivery truck just showed up. As they were unpacking each item I was scanning it for any defects; sure enough every single piece of the bunk bed was defected, scratched, the wood was fractured, and the steps were completely broken. They offered a low rate for an AC checkup. Upon arrival, NO maintenance was performed. They tried to sell me replacement capacitors for parts that were still good at 10X the actual cost as well as WAY overpriced services such as coil cleaning and drain cleaning. If you decline, they pressure you to buy the 3 year ($499.00) service agreement to cover "necessary" repairs. A dishwasher, purchased new from Conn's had hoes that sprayed water in back of cabinet. When I caught it I called for service. Besides their not taking responsibility for the installation or lack of, which is not longer under warranty, which was their fault in the first place, unless I should go into the appliance repair business. After repeated calls, visits to the store, to their main office in Beaumont I finally found someone, many months later, after giving up on replacing the filter, that refunded my money. I purchased a new e-320 Genesis grill from Weber 10 months ago. I ordered it from Amazon because I wanted to gold color exterior. Out of the box, the grill had a gas leak and couldn't be used. I purchased this item on line. I chose this company because they could deliver the fastest and matched price. Unfortunately delivery took 30 days, not 10 as was promised. The item came unassembeled which was NEVER disclosed on the site. The furniture was poorly made and has a sloppy finish. My husband is "handy" but the engineering and shoddy workmanship make it almost impossible to assemble. The average homeowner would find this almost impossible to deal with. My frig under AMC with tne company failed to cool properly and I registered acomplaint with them on 4/4/2011.After inspection on 4/4/2011, informed me that gas has to be filled.On 5/4/2011 their mechanic tried to fill the gas but failed.He informed that he has to drill ahole at the back of the fridge and connect apipe externally to fill the gas, as the original pipe fitted internally as clogged.
