I bought the (first one) SS-700 coffee maker in April 2010. It stopped heating water approx. 2 mos. later. On March 5th, 2010 they came out to our business to repair a broken belt and pulley on our heat/air unit. On June 8th, we noticed a loud vibration coming from the unit. We called Malone out again. The technician, unaware of the previous repair, told us that we had the wrong belt in the unit and that was why it was vibrating. They charged us $152 to retension the improper belt that they had installed 3 months earlier! We unhappily paid this bill but then began an attempt to recoup our losses. I entered into a contract with Mad Designs on August 24, 2010 to replace my front steel door and new windows for my bedrooms. It is now five months later, they still have not given me a proper fitting door. The door they gave me has a 1/4 inch gap where it is not the right size. This supplier has been paid a 50% deposit 6 weeks ago for a delivery I was promised within a week. Upon now having the item ready he is unwilling to deliver! I have been promised a delivery daily for the last week. When i suggested I send my courier to collect his reaction was one of anger, and he shouted and flapped around like a toddler, and put the phone down. During December 2010 we have received our monthly utility bill with regards to electricity, rates and taxes. The amount due and payable was R47, 630-00. We purchased a 3-door Sears Kenmore Elite w/bottom freezer w/ in- door icemaker&water dispenser on May 31, 2010. This was a new 2010 model. I looked over the website for this product, and, having tried other gutter guard products, all with limited success, I decided to give it a try. One thing I did NOT notice was a small caveat buried in the installation "warnings"- if you have a metal roof, you "have" to have something called "ice cleats". We had a washer & dryer damaged in our move. Our moving company hired this company to repair the damages to BOTH machines. The first call, they came right out to evaluate the damage. They arrived promptly at 8 am, when they promised only 8 to 12 on the schedule. The technician said he did not believe that the dryer needed any attention but he did NOT look at the bottom of the unit, where the damage was reported. Scammer's = Blackwell Construction Inc from Des Moines, Iowa hired us to do a Iowa Department of Transportation tree clearing project. Once the job was completed, they got paided from the IDOT and neglected to pay us. We have $10, 000 out in payroll, fuel, and equipement rental and now this! TV advertising misleading on price and shipping and handling. They say you get a second unit free but don't specifically tell you that a $14.95 shipping and handling charge is added for the second unit. They only provide One set of specialty insert pans even though you are sent two units. If you wants to buy a second set of pans it will cost you and additional $19.90. I hired Sharp Ace Contractors to renovate two bathrooms, kitchens, and refinish the floor throughout my duplex. Among the many issues that I had throughout the project, and the fact that the project took 6 months to complete. The final walk through of the project was atrocious. Springhouse Window and Door, Paoli, PA did a window replacement job for me recently at over $5, 000. They installed new sash on top of a rotten frame and didn't bother to let me know about the rot. I had to try to have it repaired after the installation of the new sash. It would have been so much easier to repair the frame rot while the old windows were out - before the new windows were installed. They were totally unapologetic.
