Coast to Coast based in AK sub-contracts sales people for different areas of the country to sell their metal buildings--these people do not have any responisiblity other than collecting the deposit. C to C then hires ANOTHER fly by night comp to 'build' the metal structure. They barely built it any better than I could---tons of problems and then C to C cant be reached nor the flybys that made it. They never returned. And worst of all they get away with it. This past November 2010 I used a company called "Christ Ian Construction and Roofing" located in Grafton Ohio. Owner Robert Laurence and his crew did such a poor job that by the time the first snow fall it was leaking in 5 different area's. Ordered several desks and other office furniture from online website. Big mistake. 2 1/2 weeks later and numerous calls to customer service and the order is no closer to being onsite than the day I placed the ordered. If you need the goods in reasonable period of time, go to the local store and arrange for local delivery. Ikea online has a very immature operation so save yourself the frustration. Purchased a Kenmore [made by whirlpool] dishwasher and within 11 months noticed a few rust spots on the racks. We bought a mattress from the Roomstore back in July 2008, with the mattress came a 3yr warrenty from the roomstore! For the first year and half, the mattress was fine! On 23rd October 2010, I delivered 8 timber dining room tub chairs to Padstow Upholstery in Sydney with the promise from the business 0wner that the chairs would be restained and re-upholstered no later than 21 days from delivery to the factory. A 50% deposit of $1, 000 was paid. It is now the 7th January 2011 and the work has not been completed. North Star Alarm Company suckered me into signing a 3 year contract right after I was robbed. They told me I would get a rebate due to I was already checking into companies that where cheaper, but no rebate came about. I then relocated to an apartment that already had an alarm, but they would not cancel my contract, so I paid $40 a month and am still paying. I have a love seat and couch leather with recliners built in. Each has a broken mechanism and can not be repaired because the china company is out of business. Moved into an apartment temporarily. Using the oven for the 1st time, I was in the kitchen and noticed sparks. Quickly it escalated into a very bright white flame and a fire. I turned off the oven, but it somehow remained on! I could see that the heating element was on fire and driping something to the base of the oven. Worst experience ever. Dean Henninger signed a contract to do a remodel for $204, 000 and 4 months. It took 18 months, cost over $400k and he stole $5, 000 from me by charging a personal truck repair on the credit card I set for the job. He claimed to be a devout christian, but his "faith" was a scham for theft and deceit.The worst thing was, the only reason I did the job with him and at all was because he convinced me that it could be done for $204k. I ordered three bedroom windows from Window City through Macro Renovation, it's premier dealer on November 2010. We were surprised to know that they are not safe at all. The sashes will fall out from their frames when I tilt them out. This is extremely unsafe and it has hurt my hand on the first day. This has been acknowledged as factory issue, not usual case. We purchased a new TV from Reliance Hyper Mart in GGN. The TV arrived in a well worn box. I reported this to LG and they sent over an engineer. The engineer pushed to install the TV and sure enough the picture was bad. There were up-t0-down bands. He checked with multiple inputs, cables and reported that there is a problem. Then on reporting the same to the customer care number I was given notice that reminders have been sent and that there will be more engineers visiting my home.
