North Star Alarm Company suckered me into signing a 3 year contract right after I was robbed. They told me I would get a rebate due to I was already checking into companies that where cheaper, but no rebate came about. I have a love seat and couch leather with recliners built in. Each has a broken mechanism and can not be repaired because the china company is out of business. Riteaway was sent out to replace my water heater via my home warranty company - First American. These companies are in cahoots to rip off consumers. We have had our Sleep Number beds approx. 10 years. We purchased the bed frames from another source. My wifes twin bed mattress does not register right She normally sleeps on Select No.45. Moved into an apartment temporarily. Using the oven for the 1st time, I was in the kitchen and noticed sparks. Quickly it escalated into a very bright white flame and a fire. I turned off the oven, but it somehow remained on! I could see that the heating element was on fire and driping something to the base of the oven. Worst experience ever. Dean Henninger signed a contract to do a remodel for $204, 000 and 4 months. It took 18 months, cost over $400k and he stole $5, 000 from me by charging a personal truck repair on the credit card I set for the job. He claimed to be a devout christian, but his "faith" was a scham for theft and deceit.The worst thing was, the only reason I did the job with him and at all was because he convinced me that it could be done for $204k. I ordered three bedroom windows from Window City through Macro Renovation, it's premier dealer on November 2010. We were surprised to know that they are not safe at all. The sashes will fall out from their frames when I tilt them out. This is extremely unsafe and it has hurt my hand on the first day. This has been acknowledged as factory issue, not usual case. We purchased a new TV from Reliance Hyper Mart in GGN. The TV arrived in a well worn box. I reported this to LG and they sent over an engineer. The engineer pushed to install the TV and sure enough the picture was bad. There were up-t0-down bands. He checked with multiple inputs, cables and reported that there is a problem. Then on reporting the same to the customer care number I was given notice that reminders have been sent and that there will be more engineers visiting my home. Purchased a glass (made in India) Votive candle cup for Christmas. The first candle burned in it was a yankee candle votive. The cup exploded while lit shooting glass shards across the room and spilling hot wax.I never leave candles burning unattended but was nearly shot by glass. Never had a glass cup like this do that? We paid this company $6, 554.00 to re- do our roof. The check cleared in May 2010. When they broke several promises as to when the work would be completed, I got angry and demanded our money back. It is now December 2010 and no work has been started or completed and no money has been refunded. Since then there has been emails, certified letters, and conciliation court. They did not bother to show up for court, but also did not appeal the decision. I purchased a Haan Steam Mop from their website. It worked for about 10 months and then stopped working. When I contacted the company they said it was out of warranty and there was nothing that they would do. The company representative seemed familiar with the problem I was having with the machine. I purchase a Kenmore elite frig in Aug 2010. Since I made the purchase I have had 4 service calls to fix it as it does not cool. I have yet to have it fixed. It is now Jan 2011 and I am waiting for the next service calls. I have talked to managers that tell me their is nothing they can do and I just have to keep making appointments to get it fixed.
