Do not purchase Guardsman or Overstock (serviced by Guardsman) protection plans. This is a total scam. They will basically steal your money. You will get very rude customer service, they will make you go though ridiculous procedures (sending bunch of paperwork - emails are not allowed :) just to tell you that your damage is NOT covered. Someone should start a class lawsuit against these people. I broke my leg 3 weeks ago. It is very unusual and nasty injury. My doctor called it particularly bad and rare case. So I lay in bed with my leg propped waiting for a surgery. I will get metal plate and screws in order to set correctly my broken bones. I have been waiting 3 weeks already for the surgery. I hired BOB SAGE of Livingston NJ to fix a sky light. He gave me a 3yr guarantee. I tried to call over the fall & winter but the phone was disconnected, making me think he went out of business. I saw his advertisement in the town paper again so I called. I told him I was STILL having the leaking problem and he said he would be over on Wednesday to take care of it.HE didn't show. I talked with the salesman at Springhouse Windows and Doors in Paoli, PA. I picked out the window that I wanted. He installed the wrong windows and charged me almost $4, 000 for three windows. When I complaint about the wrong windows he outright told me that he was not going to install the right windows because he said that he already installed the right windows. This turned into an uphill battle whereas I called Super Marvin and they did nothing. Now, I am stuck with ugly windows and Springhouse could care less. Only 15 years after installation, 5 of my 8 Marvin windows need to be replaced because the frames, sills and even some sashes, have rotted. The only 3 that don't need replacement are located under a porch roof. I purchased the windows with Marvin's now discontinued "Flexicron" finish. During shipping the Flexicron finish cracked at the seams. Marvin sent several representatives to check out the problem. Do not ever call this company for repairs in Yucca Valley They must be the worst possible plumbing company in California. I have heard several horror storys about customers that used their service and wern't satisfied in the least. Heres 2 reasond why I wouldn't call them if my life depended on it, They charge hundreds of dollars for repairs that can be done in 20 minutes. Plus their service technicians have little or no qualifications. I represent an established building company in NSW and we (for some reason) refer our clients to Harvey Norman Commercial for things like plumbing PCs. Back in April we were charged for items we did NOT order. After following this up repeatedly, the our allocated Accounts person acknowledged the error & requested that a credit be raised. Were very helpful and positive about product questions. Gave good vibe on "customer service", "repeat customers", etc. Basically they had all the "right" answers & attitude to make a new customer feel safe & confident about making a purchase. Very friendly. That is until they pick-up your payment through Western Union or Bank Transfer then there is absolutely no further contact. They just completely ignore you and enjoy your stolen money. My wife order a furnace from this company four months ago and was told it was on back order. We waited over a month and called 4 times or so and finally reached someone who said it was still on back order. I asked for a refund and they said they would do it "right away". It's now been 3 more months and no refund. Our called and emails have gone unanswered. It appears a Dana Kamide is the owner although he uses a different name in him corp filings. DO NOT BUY the "Septic 3000" septic bacteria additive from Septic World! They have many recent complaints. They call from Washington State and are claiming that they moved their plant to New Mexico. BEWARE! Purchase Larson Door Model # 34920 if you want to run the risk of MANY days of aggravation, personal insults, condesending lectures, and lack of customer support. I purchased a DCS grill from them approx 3 years ago, High end stainless steel . I spent quite of money. They recommended this unit to me as I was actually looking to purchase a Viking grill. Now I am experiencing rust on some of the components and the tell me the warranty only cover "RUST THRU" . They offer no other help or solutions. We contacted Acre Replacement Windows in June 2010, along with other window contractors. They underbid the rest of the contractors for the same service and we signed a contract. The product was to be delivered in a few weeks. Turns out, they decided that they couldn't do what they contracted and make it look nice. But for another $700.00, they could. I purchased several of these tubs less then 5years ago, and now they have standing water depression in the tub with causes discolor in that area. It was recommened that I dont use any cement under the tub, and would have voided the warrenty. I am a master plumber and would recommend not to buy this type of tub. Owner, Michael Wright, misrepresented the quality of his work through his website. He worked only 2 hours a day even when given a deadline for my bathroom remodel. He was in way over his head, despite having a detailed project description which included plumbing, framing, electrical work and, of course, his tile work. I have pictures to anyone who wants to see them about the poor quality of his work. I paid him $1500 in advance (my mistake) and he has not made any refund to me. I stopped getting oil deliveries from them in 2008, because I could get oil cheaper from ABC fuel in Brookfield. We started using ADT burglar alarm service at October 2010. After a year we decided to move out from the premises and called ADT to cancel the service. They told us the contract was for 5 years.
