My nephew subscribed to a website supported by Smartcall without my concern. I received an sms that R20 was deducted from my account as that site charges R20 a day. I sms's for them to unsubscribe me the same day, that was on the 7th of June 2011. On the 8th of June 2011 another R20 was deducted from my account once again. When I called the Call Centre I was sent from pillar to post and the Manager - Alicia Jonker refused to speak to me. I am using Tata indicom prepaid. In April 2011 they have deducted 150 Rs for automatically connected to 12900 which I have not used. My Dad had a prepaid Verizon phone. He died shortly after paying Verizon $181.00. We tried to get the phone disconnected and the $160 left on his account refunded. AT&T advertises $14.95 for internet services for 12 months but CANNOT get their billing right! I have e-mailed them and phoned them.
