I had a purchased a bus ticket at approximately 5:30 pm on 06/27/2010 from Gulf Express. I specifically needed to purchases a bus ticket that went to Wall Street New York. I asked two employees working at the time and they said that the $13.50 zone 12 ticket I purchased was sufficient to take me to Wall Street. The employee said it would, but I insisted that I clarified that the ticket was NOT for Port Authority New York, but for Wall Street. The employee confirmed that I will purchasing the correct ticket.

Brita Filter
I purchased a new 3 stream Brita faucet mount filter less than 3 months ago. I previously used Pur water filters, but decided to give Brita a try.
I wish we'd stayed with Pur. The electronic indicator light failed. I changed the filter, thinking that was the problem. Still no indicator light.
After emailing Brita, I received a response telling me to do what I'd already done (change the filter). The email went on to tell me if that didn't work, I needed to buy a new unit!! As if that is going to happen.

I was told to go to the kiosk before leaving to view the photos and perhaps purchase them. I did and purchased some of the photos on CD. Classic Pest Control
This company was informed of a huge wasp nest located at least 30 feet up in a roof eave. They came out, sprayed the nest and left a note that they didn't have a ladder tall enough to knock down the nest but they did kill the wasps. When I called them to remove the entire nest as agreed upon in the original call, they said it would be an additional cost because of the height and location of nest. I ended up scraping the nest off myself. This is a classic example of bait and switch. They charged me full price, and left me to get rid of the nest. This company grossly overcharged for an airconditioner repair. The part cost $155.00 and the repair took less than one half hour. I know that one hour is the minimum charge, but really? Do they charge $311.00 for an hour of labor? Their total bill was $466.00 They advertise themselves as Senior Service - On A Budget and they are misrepresenting themselves. I bought a pair of Ecco sandals to wear on a three week trip to Europe. I wore them before I went on the trip and they seemed fine. After one day, my feet began forming blisters and continued to form them during the rest of the trip. Please avoid this company at all costs. They are a bunch of con artists. I signed up to work for them a couple of months ago as a Chatline Operator, they promised me loads of calls, hardly got any. Come pay date they refused to pay me my earnings.
I am a single mother and thought this would be a good way of earning some extra money, they are heartless theifs who kept my money, are rude when I ring and hang up on me. IT's a total scam

They have a strict no returns policy, which benefits them especially when the staff is incompetent.
I purchased a pedal for my sewing machine with the help of a salesperson. I tried for weeks to get the pedal to work, without success. When I tried to return the pedal because it didn't ever work, I was told by the salesperson that he couldn't give me anything for it because of their policy. Essentially, I gave that store $40 for poor customer service.
I will never go there again and recommend that anyone that needs sewing machine repair go somewhere else. read full review »
