After having my broadband disconnected due to a relocation I was told by Optus that I could still access my Optusnet account for 90 days (read only) could not send. After 6 days the access was totally cut off and despite calling them I was advised nothing could be done about it once the service was stopped by them. I am a customer in Charlotte NC. We had some work done by Olshan more than a year ago. 4 piers and some crawlspace work. When adjusting the 4 piers placed under the foundation itself, they raised it too high. It cracked my walls and almost broke the windows. When they hired someone to fix it, they wouldn't pay him to paint, only drywall the cracks that they created. I had requested when the last warranty work was done, that a concrete pier be mortared. I registered a domain name with yahoo two years ago and never used it. The renewal on the name came up yesterday, which I found oit becaue i noticed the 35.00 charge on my bank account. I immediately canceled the account and called yahoo. They informed me that they could not refund the money for the year's service even though it was just one day into it. This Company contracted me to haul frieght via my Truck and Semi Trailer. They pretended to be a franchise of a large company and asurred me of minimum incomme of 2000.00 per week. They promissed to pay weekly as I delivered their loads. John Deere Trike Tricycle built by RC2Corp appeared solidly built, however, a weekness developed in the neck of the trike under the handle bars which broke and bent unexpectedly causing my son to be thrown face first into the cement sidewalk. Very inconsistant, late last year I placed a large order of custom badges, it was said to be delivered on a specific date (4-6 weeks), I received the order over a month later from the 6 weeks. Yesterday, I placed an order for 150 badges, credit card was accepted, we got confirmation numbers and a thank you letter for our order. Out of gut feeling, we decided to make a phone call anyways to make sure the order was placed, we later found out the order was never sent in, AGAIN... I conducted a loan signing application for Notarywork, Inc., Gaetano LoGrande on August 5, 2009. After completing the loan application, I was contacted again to complete the signing on September 24, 2009. I printed two sets of docs arrived at the confirmed time of between 8:30-9:00PM, the signer was nowhere to be found. I called the signer over 13 times and left vm messages for contact and followed up with the title company, First United Home Loans, 5-6 times that night. I purchased a cub cadet 1050 lawn tractor at TSC in hamilton on 8/14/09. in sept. I purchased the three horse power (twenty ton) electric model back in February of this year. The machine is advertised a being quiet, but actually is very loud with a high pitch noise that requires ear protection. Doug (company owner) says it is due to the higher RPM of the three horse power model and the hydraulic pump is making the screaming noise. Doug says he will send me a quiet pump. I phoned 1st Access when my boiler stopped working, The engineer arrived at my apartment and after a deliberated 40 minutes I was told "the elements had gone" and I need to replace them, but the engineer "rewired them" so I can have hot water for tonight. I purchased a plan with solomobile and since activation i have been getting these "short code program" text messages which charges anywhere from $2 to $5 per incoming text. After speaking to the solomobile both at the kiosk where I purchased the phone and also calling their technical support, solomobile says it's a 3rd party text and they just past the bill to the consumer. Since I did not subscribe to this I end up paying for this. 1st month was $21, now it's $42. I can't get them to reverse the charges and I'm not sure where these messages come from. I purchased 3 Bamboo Shades for my patio to block the heat of the sun. When we installed one, we found it to be useless for this purpose because the slats were to wide apart allowing lots of sunshine to pass through. Autozone is preparing to open a store in my neighborhood. In preparing this building they have painted over a mural that was on the exterior, rear wall of the building, which faces a parking lot and busy street. This was done, I assume, so that their store could be a clone of every other store they have. The mural was painted by local school children and was colorful and whimsical. Just venting...I have the 5Mbps road Runner Service from Oceanic Cable in Honolulu and more often it never gets anywhere near that speed. Many times when I measure the speed, it's in the 300kbps to 1Mbps range. Occasionally, I would get 5Mbps but that's if I use it in obscure hours of the day when other people are either sleeping or not at home.
