I've become a fan of that Clark Howard money guy on CNN. These guys really got me good. They quoted me $276 to move a one bedroom apartment and when they got to my apartment they insisted that they had to wrap all furnishings including my matress and box spring in one or more of the following bubble wrap/padding/shrink wrap and use 14 rolls of tape to do it. If there were any loose items they had to put them in a box and then would charge an arm and a leg for it all. Lingo will not refund money that they continue to charge me even after cancelling. I finally had to cancel my bank card to get them to stop charging. When I call they say I never cancelled (3 times) and finally agree to refund. I never get the refund and get yet another bill for services never rendered. I never even got their equipment! Everytime I call them the call is somehow magically disconnected right before they finish the refund and so I have to call back and fight all over again.
